Aliko Dangote, renowned billionaire businessman, is set to embark on the construction of a seaport near his fertilizer and oil refinery plants, marking the next phase of his business expansion. The proposed Atlantic seaport, located in Olokola, Ogun State, is roughly 100 kilometers from Dangote's fertilizer plant and petrochemicals refinery in Lagos. Dangote currently utilizes an on-site jetty for exporting urea and fertilizer, which also serves as a receiving point for heavy equipment destined for the refinery. As reported by Bloomberg News, the proposed Atlantic seaport will integrate logistics and export operations, posing competition to existing facilities in Lagos, while streamlining the export process for goods, including liquefied natural gas. Devakumar Edwin, Vice President of the group, disclosed that Dangote intends to export liquefied gas from Lagos, a project necessitating the construction of pipelines from Nigeria's oil-rich Niger Delta. Upon completion, the project is anticipated to bolster the rapid growth of Dangote's industrial empire.

Nigeria just lost one of the last traditional wood carver and we didn’t know!!!
I often visited Mr Yinka Fabayo in his Oshogbo studio, sometimes to buy one of his beautiful wood sculptures, other times to pick up fabrics from his ever-gracious wife. Each visit was met with his signature welcome: a heavy punch to my shoulder, a squeeze deep handshake, followed by a warm smile and an unforgettable hug.
Whenever he had an engagement in Ile-Ife, he and his wife would make the trip to my house, and we would share the kind of fellowship that is very rare between a senior artist and a mentee.

We had planned to go to the Qatar show together. I had helped him curated all his works, photographed each sculpture with care, full of excitement for what was to come, but life, in its own way, had other plans.
Egbon Fabayo, You didn’t just live a good life, you left a legacy, you made impact, you built community, you made great art, you carved history, and you lived a deeply fulfilling life.

When you get to the other side, extend my greetings to Lamidi Olonade Fakeye, Õlówè of Ise, Areogun, Bisi Fakeye, but find time to rest well, because you really worked!! You worked!!

Continuation from where we stopped yesterday:

We need to take a lesson from David and stop the gossip, slander and misunderstandings about one another in the congregation of God. We need to critically study the life of David so as to really help us on how to respond to some tough situation amidst brethren.

David stopped the group of men in the cave, and told them not to harm Saul. But I put it to you today that I have seen countless times when ministers of God are after their lives all in the name of ranks, position, authority, influence, connection, fame, etc. Will the Lord be please with this act?

*David specifically ordered Abishai, not to harm Saul because he's the Lord's anointed and he has respect and honor for higher authority. If we all possess this same heart, the church of God, would have been heaven on earth.*

You see church talking about someone even though you are right and they are wrong is still wrong. There's need to be a respect for authority, number is people’s lives, but there also needs to be a respect for each other. If that is lost or not pursued in the tough times, we will wake up like Saul.

Pursue respect for authority and one another in the good times of your life, so that when hard times come, when people do harm to you, you will be able to respond out of love because you developed it in your life, just like David did.

*Prayer point:* Dear Lord, give me a right heart to always do your will and always keep your ordinances in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
