  • The conflict between Iran and Israel is rooted in a combination of historical, political, ideological, and security factors. Here are some of the primary reasons for the tensions and hostilities between the two nations:

    1. Ideological Differences: Iran is an Islamic Republic with a theocratic regime that promotes a revolutionary ideology, opposing Western influence and what it perceives as imperialism in the region. Israel, on the other hand, is a democratic state with a Jewish identity, often seen by Iran as a symbol of Western imperialism and a primary adversary in the Middle East.

    2. Support for Opposing Groups: Iran has supported various militant groups that oppose Israel, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza. This support includes military training, funding, and weapons supplies, which Israel views as a direct threat to its security.

    3. Nuclear Program: Iran’s nuclear program has been a significant point of contention. Israel fears that if Iran develops nuclear weapons, it could pose an existential threat to the Jewish state. As a result, Israel has consistently opposed Iran's nuclear ambitions and has engaged in various efforts to sabotage the program, including cyber attacks.

    4. Regional Influence: Iran seeks to expand its influence across the Middle East, supporting proxy groups and forming alliances with countries like Syria and Iraq. This expansion is seen by Israel as a direct threat to its national security and a challenge to its dominance in the region.

    5. Historical Hostility: The establishment of Israel in 1948 and the subsequent Arab-Israeli conflicts have created a long-standing animosity in the region. Iran, particularly after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, shifted its foreign policy to support anti-Israel sentiments and movements, aligning itself with the Palestinian cause and other adversaries of Israel.

    6. Proxy Conflicts: The conflict between Iran and Israel often plays out through proxy wars in various countries, notably in Syria and Lebanon. Iran’s involvement in these conflicts, often supporting groups that attack Israel, creates an ongoing cycle of retaliation and violence.

    7. Military Engagements: Israel has conducted airstrikes against Iranian military targets in Syria, aiming to prevent the establishment of a permanent Iranian military presence near its borders. These military engagements further escalate tensions and contribute to the ongoing hostilities.

    8. International Alliances: The U.S.-Israel alliance plays a significant role in the conflict. Iran perceives the strong U.S. support for Israel as part of a broader strategy to contain Iranian influence in the region, heightening its animosity towards both countries.

In summary, the conflict between Iran and Israel is driven by a complex interplay of ideological, political, and security factors. The ongoing hostilities are characterized by proxy conflicts, military engagements, and deep-rooted animosities, making any resolution challenging.

  • Embrace Integrity, Olukoyede Urges Students

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede has charged students in the country to shun all forms of economic and financial crimes and embrace a life of integrity for a fulfilling future.

He gave the charge recently during the induction of students of Excellent Kiddies Academy, Bwari, Abuja into EFCC’s Integrity Club.

Represented by the Head of the Interface Unit of the Public Affairs Department of the EFCC, Assistant Commander of the EFCC I, Tony Orilade, Olukoyede emphasized the importance of moral uprightness among young people, urging them to surround themselves with individuals who uphold integrity and positive values.

“To secure a brighter future, you must get it right from the beginning. Surround yourself with good people, friends and acquaintances that will help you grow in wisdom and integrity,” he said.

While warning them against associating with individuals involved in financial crimes, he stated that negative influence from such people could draw them to criminal behaviours and that could in turn, earn them grave consequences.

“Anyone who engages in financial crimes is on a path that leads to jail. Once convicted, such a person becomes an ex-convict and loses the opportunity to hold any public office in Nigeria. That is a heavy price to pay for associating with the wrong crowd,” he said.

Olukoyede further stated that the project of inaugurating EFCC’s Integrity Club in primary and secondary schools was part of the Commission’s policy of “catching them young,” which is about nurturing children to be ambassadors of integrity in their homes, schools, communities, and the country at large.

Also speaking at the event, the Head of Enlightenment and Reorientation Unit of the Commission, Assistant Commander of the EFCC II, Aisha Mohammed, enlightened the children on the functions and activities of the EFCC. She encouraged them to be honest, disciplined, and upright in their daily lives, noting that integrity is a crucial ingredient for success.

“Youths must understand that honesty and integrity are values that never go out of fashion. They open doors and keep you on the right path in life,” she said.

The highlight of the induction ceremony was a quiz competition that dwelt on EFCC and its operations. Two students, Glory Okinbaliyi and Divine Oyaniyi Bimbola emerged winners and were rewarded with android smartphones.

In his vote of thanks, the Integrity Club Master of the school, Mr. Gbenga Jatau, expressed appreciation to the EFCC Chairman and management his team for bringing the club to the school.

“On behalf of the management, staff, and students of Excellent Kiddies Academy, I extend our heartfelt gratitude to the EFCC Chairman for this great honour. We applaud the Commission’s unwavering commitment to fighting all forms of economic and financial crimes and building a better Nigeria,” he said.

  • RENO OMOKRI'S “EVIDENCE” FAILS TO PROVE HE MADE PETER OBI VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE.

Recently,Reno Omokri claimed he was instrumental in Peter Obi’s selection as Atiku Abubakar’s running mate in 2019,and offered an email screenshot as “proof” of this claim. But a closer look at the content shows that Reno’s supposed evidence is weak and irrelevant.

First, the email, dated October 8, 2018,is from a third party who wrote to Reno thanking him for support to [name redacted] and for building a better Nigeria. It then goes on to say “I have been directed by our Oga to send my resume.”That is the entire substance of the message.

There is no mention whatsoever of any recommendation of Peter Obi,any strategic discussion about vice presidential candidates, any personal involvement by Reno in influencing Atiku’s selection, any mention of Atiku or PDP decision-making,any evidence that Reno even forwarded the email to Atiku or was part of the selection process

In essence, the email only shows that someone who called Reno “dear brother” was sending a résumé likely for a political appointment and acknowledging his general support for an unnamed candidate. It is a routine political networking letter, not a confidential kingmaker memo.

If Reno Omokri had truly played a decisive role in nominating Peter Obi,you would expect to see a direct communications between Reno and Atiku, strategy memos, phone call records, minutes of meetings referencing his advice.
At the very least,a message explicitly discussing Obi’s nomination

Instead, what he posted proves nothing beyond the fact that he was part of the PDP orbit,as many were at the time.It is a big leap from “someone sent me their résumé” to “I made Peter Obi the VP candidate.” The evidence simply does not hold up.

Political history deserves more serious documentation than a single résumé email.Nigerians are entitled to transparency and facts, not half-baked bragging right.

  • How Israel Tricked Iran 20 Top Military Leaders With Fake Meeting to Kill Them

At every step, Israel’s intelligence agency, the Mossad, has dominated Iran over the past 10 days. Each action could be its own movie. Who knew that the Mossad had created inside of Iran a drone factory. These drones proved strategic as the war began in destroying missile launchers and defense systems.

Now we find out that the Mossad was able to lure 20 top military leaders to meet together at the same place so they could be neutralized. Understand, these are brutal killers. Iran is the top state sponsor of terrorism in the world, and it oppresses their own people daily. Christians are forbidden to meet, and if you are the leader of a house church, you can end up in jail.

According to Israeli Journalist Amit Segal (pictured), who can be seen daily on N12, Israel’s most popular news channel, “Israel … create[d] a fake phone call for 20 members of the air force senior staff and call[ed] them to a specific bunker in Tehran.” All Israel News reported, “The fake Israeli phone operation called for an emergency meeting for top IRGC operatives.”

“The ruse successfully drew the entire senior leadership of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC),” claimed Segal. At this point, it was quite easy for the Israeli Air Force to zero in on that location, taking out some of the most evil men on the planet.

    //Leaders neutralized:
    • General Amir Ali Hajizadeh and his deputies, who oversaw Iran’s Aerospace Force/Ballistic Missiles.
    • Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri, the head of Iran’s Armed Forces.
    • Maj. Gen. Gholam Ali Rashid, second in command
    • Head of IRGC Commander Hossein Salami, known for repeatedly calling for Israel to be wiped off the map
    • Two top nuclear scientists

“The elimination of Iran’s top military leadership meant that there was no one who was ‘alive to give the command to strike back.’ [It] paralyzed the Tehran regime for several hours. However, the ayatollah regime and the IRGC fired a barrage of some 100 ballistic missiles against Israel some time later,” according to All Israel News.

An Israeli security official told Fox News, “We carried out specific activities to help us learn more about them, and then use that information to influence their behavior. We knew this would lead them to meet, but more importantly, we knew how to keep them there.”

  • Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah receives Members of the Senate Committee on Solid Minerals

“I received members of the Senate Committee on Solid Minerals Development, led by Senator Ekong Sampson. I commended the importance of their task, as solid minerals hold a huge economic opportunity for our country, especially in the context of economic diversification.

I emphasised the need for greater inclusion of state governments in the exploration and exploitation of the nation’s solid minerals. Both national and sub-national governments possess enormous potential, yet many of these assets are lying dormant or have been left in the hands of illegal miners. That must end. As a government, we are seeking more inclusion.

I also drew attention to the ongoing conflict between the Nigerian Inland Waterway Act and the Mining Act regarding who has the right to mine sand along coastal areas. I believe this is a matter the Senate Committee will examine closely to bring clarity.

One of the major challenges in fully harnessing the solid minerals sector is the absence of reliable and up-to-date data. In many cases, available data is obsolete or insufficient for informed investment decisions. Developing accurate geospatial data and establishing clear lines of responsibility will go a long way in attracting serious investment into the sector.

We in Enugu State remain fully committed to working with the federal legislature and the federal government to reposition the solid minerals sector for national development.

I thank Senator Ekong Sampson for acknowledging Enugu’s strategic place in Nigeria’s minerals landscape. Beyond our known prominence in coal production in Udi, geological data points to valuable deposits of limestone in Nkanu and Oji River, iron ore in Nsukka and Ogbete, and silica and laterite in various parts of the state. These minerals offer significant opportunities for investment, job creation and broad economic advancement.

I welcome the Senate’s pledge to collaborate with us in crafting the necessary legal, regulatory and governance frameworks to unlock the full potential of this sector” the Governor Said
Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah receives Members of the Senate Committee on Solid Minerals “I received members of the Senate Committee on Solid Minerals Development, led by Senator Ekong Sampson. Blaze FM reports that primary school teachers in the FCT, have been on strike since the 24th of March, 2025, now for more than 90 days, over the failure of the Area Council Chairmen to implement the new national minimum wage of N70,000.

“S for Suegbe, T for Tinubu, W for Wike”, VDM called out, while the children repeated.

He insisted that the Minister’s gate would form the new classroom for the children.

At the time of filing this report, the students are currently on break, eating rice and chicken provided by VDM and friends.

  • *TOPIC: AVOIDING PITFALL IN MARRIAGE/ RELATIONSHIP*(Series 5)

*Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 10:12, Titus 3:3

Continuation from where we stopped yesterday; still on pitfall to avoid in marriage/relationship:

*6) Discord and hatred of your spouse:* The moment you refuse to agree with your spouse on many occasions, automatically, hatred will set in. And it causes you to walk in darkness. Titus 3:3 says; *"For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another."* You must fight against constant disagreement and hatred in your marriage so as to avoid pitfall. The Lord will keep your home in Jesus Christ name.

*7) An uncontrolled tongue is a deadly poison and a word of iniquity:* Husband and wife must build their lives on the right word to each other on daily basis because this is part of your destiny. An uncontrolled tongue is a deadly poison to your destiny. Life and death are in your tongue. *"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit."*(Proverbs 18:21) Stop using hard and negative words on your spouse no matter what he or she does because they speak louder later in the future.

*8) Taking your Spouse for granted:* That’s like having a garden that you’re not weeding or fertilizing, *You can’t expect it to continue to thrive. Let your partner knows you appreciate him or her.* Show some kindness and learn to appreciate no matter how little because it has great influence on your home. Stop taking him or her for granted! That's your blood and your flesh, you can't afford to treat him or her badly.

*9) Forgetting that a good marriage takes work:* People think that having a happy marriage is a magical, mystical occurrence. says by a marriage and family therapist (Dr. Leslie Parrott). He is the co-author of When Bad Things Happen to Good Marriages (Zondervan/HarperCollins). *This is the fact that parenting takes a lot of skill. • *TOPIC: AVOIDING PITFALL IN MARRIAGE/ RELATIONSHIP*(Series 6)

    *Scripture Reading:* 1Peter 2:1, Proverbs 4:7

The concluding part, pitfall to avoid in marriage/relationship:

*10) Not talking through conflict:* If you rely on heavy sighs, slammed doors and other non-verbal communication when something is bothering you, you could be playing with fire. *As painful as it may be to get the conversation started, you must speak up.* “Otherwise, problems start festering and begin to take on a life of their own,” *"Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind."*(1Peter 2:1) Keeping silent during conflict is devilish, keep talking and never give room for the devil in your home.

*11) Flighty over money:* A recent study found that 43% of married couples argue about money mostly everyday. *This is the truth, marriage can't work without money but as christian, we must not give ourselves as slave to it but must be subjected to us.* As couple, to make our marriages work and to avoid pitfall in the journey, don't allow the love of money to override your affair. Money has an important role to play in our homes and we must be careful in dealing with it.

*12) Shutting down sexually when you’re angry rather than dealing with issues:* This is very common to women, although withholding affection may seem like the ideal way to punish your husband, you risk seriously damaging your relationship. *No matter what happened between you and your spouse, using sex as a tool of punishment is demonic and witchcraft.* Infact, sex should be a means of settling issues and not a tool of punishment.

*13) Failing to understand that marriages have ups and downs:* It’s OK to expect incredible moments in your marriage, but *“Just don’t expect them to happen every day.”* Learn to understand Time and Season. Proverbs 3:14 says; *"I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him."* I hope this series will bring a great change in our homes as the Holy Spirit will be our help in Jesus name. Good morning and do have a fruitful Friday, peace.

*Prayer point:* I nullify every strategies of the devil to bring down my marriage in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

  • *TOPIC: CHRISTIAN HOME: PILLARS THAT SUSTAIN MARRIAGES*(Series 6)

    *Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 15:4

*"A soothing tongue [speaking words that build up and encourage] is a tree of life, But a perversive tongue [speaking words that overwhelm and depress] crushes the spirit."*(AMP)

*6) Mindfulness:* Be careful with your words. Once they are said, they can be only forgiven, not forgotten. *What kind of words do you say to your husband/wife?* Today's Scripture says; *"The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit."*

Couples have a great deal of power and influence over each other, and sometimes, this fact is ignored or forgotten and it has great impact in our marriages.

Our primary means of influence are the words we use to express ourselves to our partner.

*You have to decide to make your partner feel loved, supported, and connected through what you say to him/her.*

*7). Humility:* Sometimes, Couple think expressing humility means giving away your power. Not at all. True humility doesn’t mean becoming a doormat; *it means putting aside arrogance and the belief that your way is always the best way.* Proverbs 22:4 says; *"Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life."*

So, humility in marriage, results into riches, honor and life! Glory to God. To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. Good morning and do have a great day, peace.

*Prayer point:* Dear Lord, help us to saturate our hearts with your word so that the words of our mouths reflect you in our homes in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

  • *TOPIC: CHRISTIAN HOME: PILLARS THAT SUSTAIN MARRIAGES*(Series 8)

    *Scripture Reading:* 1Peter 3:1-7, Proverbs 3:5-6.

I want to emphasize more on this; *No one should know you intimately, more than your spouse. Don’t be wary of training of your spouse. Due to differences in background and some other factors, you will experience a communication gap naturally. But keep training your spouse until your good desire comes true.*

*9) Pray Together:* To keep and sustain your marriage, don't neglect praying habit with your spouse. *Pray with your spouse and pray for your spouse each day! You can only be in charge of your home when issues are settling in the spirit realm via prayer.* Be a Christian example to your spouse. Scripture gives this instruction to wives who have non-Christian husbands.

*“Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives”* (1 Peter 3:1). It's your duty as wife to be in charge of your home and likewise husband. There must be no loophole.

Your loving, giving, Christian example can go a long way toward positively influencing your spouse. Your prayer lifestyle will determine this and influence your spouse positively in doing God's will.

We all need to acknowledge God and our Savior in every aspect of our lives. Scripture exhorts us: *“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”* (Proverbs 3:5–6). You can't trust and acknowledge God if your praying habit is not intact. To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. Good morning and do have a fruitful weekend, peace.

*Prayer point:* Holy Spirit, ignite the fire in us and bring us to the center of your will for our marriage in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
