  • Breaking News The youth of Burkina Faso have chosen to support President Ibrahim Traore in rebuilding their nation. They are providing free labor at road construction sites, and others are contributing cement to facilitate the construction process. This level of civic engagement only happens when citizens have faith in their leader and a strong sense of national pride. Unfortunately, donations in many African countries rarely produce tangible outcomes. Moral lesson: African youths desire effective governance; they are disillusioned with insincere politicians.

MY LETTER TO THE WORLD ON HOW TO ALLEVIATE WORLD PROBLEMS IN OUR CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY. In contemporary society, a multitude of abnormalities persist on a daily and nightly basis, spanning generations. The continued practice of misguided belief systems prompts the inquiry: how can we terminate this chaos? Consider the following: the concept of racial superiority is fundamentally flawed. Individuals from all ethnic backgrounds require assistance from one another. We are designed to coexist, sharing resources and celebrating diversity. It is apparent that life's offerings are not exclusive to one race; discoveries and innovations are intended to benefit humanity collectively. Ultimately, nothing in life is solely reserved for one group. 1) The reality that I emphasize in my messages to the world is that all humans are connected and originate from a single source. What constitutes a better life, which is comprised of everything that brings us happiness and fulfillment? Through my examination of life, I have come to realize that we all share the same fundamental needs. Moreover, I have found that even before humanity came into existence, everything required for a fulfilling life was already in place. We do not need to be selfish or harmful; our desires can be attained through love and mutual respect. Africa, America, China, and India are all valuable contributors to the world, and failure to recognize this is a sign of ignorance that requires attention. (2) Failure to acknowledge the truth about our perspectives on other races: It will astonish you to learn about the self-perceptions of Chinese, Indian, Black, and White individuals. Instead of collaborating and educating ourselves about the realities of life, some races attempt to conceal, destroy other cultures, and manipulate them to perpetuate exploitation. However, this behavior will not persist indefinitely, and eventually, the suppressed and exploited individuals will acquire the capacity to rise up against their oppressors, leading to a reversal of consequences. I emphasized that it is foolish for any race to consider itself superior to others; we are one, one world, one God, one humanity, we want a good life, a beautiful earth, highlighting that the world's resources are sufficient for humanity to share, and we will never exhaust them. (3)Every individual has free will, except for minors who require supervision. So-called international laws that supposedly aim to improve the world appear to favor one race over others. In response to the corona virus, Africans developed their own solutions, but these required approval from the World Health Organization, resulting in delays pending WHO validation. In Nigeria, many companies are closing because overseas companies do not want local solution providers to coexist with their own, so they use their collective power to stop it. If we are to achieve peace and progress, we must work together, love one another, and share with one another. Otherwise, a time will come when no human can stop the nemesis of our corrupt attitudes. Interestingly, the most corrupt country in the world, which is also ranked as the most curious, questions why it is not listed among the corrupt nations. We must allow every country and race to decide what is good for them, as nobody should rule the world due to the lack of human capacity, which only the creator possesses. To summarize, the notion that one human being is superior to another is a falsehood, as is the idea that we do not need each other's support in life. Additionally, it is a misconception that any race can exist independently of others. It is also untrue that we do not all require the necessities of life, which bring fulfillment. It is an established fact that humanity shares a common origin. Consequently, we must work collaboratively with love, respect each other's cultural diversity, and share the resources provided by our creators for our mutual benefit. BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF PEOPLE WHO IMPACTED OUR SOCIETY POSITIVELY OR NEGATIVELY ON THEIR FIELD OF WORKS EPISODE (54) BLACK FACE NAIJA (NIGERIA) Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo (born in Ogwule, Agatu, Benue State, Nigeria .His known by his stage name Blackface Naija or just Blackface, is a Nigerian dancehall, ragga, reggae singer, and songwriter. He is best known as co-writer of "African Queen" with 2Baba, a song made famous by the latter after it appeared on his debut solo album Face 2 Face in 2004 to become an international hit. Personal career of Blackface After the Plantashun Boiz split up in 2004, Blackface led a solo musical career. He released the hip hop album Ghetto Child in May 2004 collaborating with several artists. The album contains "Hard Life" featuring Alabai as the first single. He also recorded a full album for his crew D Tribunal called What We Are. After Ghetto Child, he released Evergreen, Jungle Fever, Me, Musiq and I, Dancehall Business, and the prospective Defender Personal life of blackface Blackface was married to Dayo for eight years and has two children, Caroline and Alex. The couple agreed to separate, pending divorce procedures. Blackface and two-face controversy -Innocent 2Baba Idibia "Over the years, I have been tagged the villain of the Plantashun history, some say I followed money and betrayed my brothers in the hustle. Others say I stole a song and made it my hit. I have ignored it all because I am an enigma and my life revolves around peace, I try not to chase the problematic side of life, my loving wife Ani would always urge me to say something and clear my name but I gave it time. I gave it time because time reveals all things. We are growing grey now, our kids shouldn't see themselves and say "Hey your daddy stole my daddy's song and made fame from it". That would drop the pride in my kids so I have to clear the air. What a lot of people do not know is that; I took permission from its writer as a professional would do. The writer told me "haba bro, we are brothers from Idoma, I am creative with writing, I can write another. This one Na the least track wey I get self wey go blow" He underestimated the African Queen, I went ahead to record it, energized and gave it a vibe with my voice and it went beyond Africa to the world. It became a global hit that pulled platinum sales for my former record label Kennis Music. African Queen became a movement that reawakened the awareness in the beauty of an African woman, it became a sound of the Pan-African spirit and it brought home an Award from MTv. As a peaceful man, I still contacted the writer to show him love from my own earnings, because as at that time, my whole doings were sponsored by Kennis so they controlled my funds. I offered the writer ₦2 million naira and a plot land in Otukpo Benue State but he told me he deserved more than that. I tried to make the writer understand this thing I am offering is coming from my small savings and will do more in future as I grow bigger. The writer needed more because he felt I was global and worth more with no consideration of me under a label. I even brought it to the attention of my King but the writer still stood his ground. At that point, I decided to move on and let destiny play its role because it was becoming a distraction in my career. The record label is operated like a football business, they do not just sign you to come and warm the bench but to bring home the accolades. Angélique Kidjo first black African to get Hollywood Walk of Fame star Musical icon Angélique Kidjo has become the first black African performer to be selected for a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Kidjo, who comes from the West African country of Benin and has won five Grammy awards, was among the 35 names announced as part of the Walk of Fame's class of 2026 list. The 64-year-old was hailed as Africa's "premier diva" during a press conference announcing the list on Wednesday. Singer Miley Cyrus, actor Timothée Chalamet, actress Demi Moore and former basketball player Shaquille O'Neal are also among those set to be honoured with a star on Los Angeles' famous walk. Kidjo receives the honour after making music for more than four decades and releasing 16 albums. The songstress has won fans across the world with her commanding voice and ability to fuse West African styles with the likes of funk, jazz and R&B. Her long list of collaborators includes forces such as Burna Boy, Philip Glass, Sting and Alicia Keys. Kidjo joins Charlize Theron, a white South African actress, in representing Africa on the Walk of Fame, which comprises more than 2,700 stars. Theron received her star in 2005. The date on which Kidjo will see her star unveiled on the Walk of Fame has not yet been announced. After recipients have been selected for a star, they have two years to schedule induction ceremonies. Kidjo grew up in Benin, but left for Paris in 1983, citing oppression from the country's then communist government. "From the moment the communist regime arrived in Benin, I became aware that the freedom we enjoy can be snatched away in a second," she told the BBC in 2023. She said she has been driven by curiosity since childhood, adding: "my nickname was 'when, why, how?'. I want to understand things, to understand my place in this world." Kidjo worked as a backing singer in France before striking out as a solo artist in 1990, with the album Parakou. She is a Unicef and Oxfam goodwill ambassador, and has her own charity, Batonga, which is dedicated to supporting the education of young girls in Africa.

THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE WORKING PERFECTLY ACCORDING TO ITS MANDATE Your statement reflects a critical perspective on the role and function of the Nigerian police force, which has been a topic of significant debate and discussion in Nigeria over the years. Here are some points that contextualize this view: 1. Historical Context - {Colonial Roots} The Nigerian police force was established during colonial rule primarily to serve the interests of the colonial government, primarily for control and oppression rather than protection and service to the citizens. - {Post-Colonial Legacy} After Nigeria attained independence in 1960, the police inherited a structure and culture that often prioritized political control over public safety. 2. Public Perception and Trust - {Corruption} There are widespread reports of corruption within the police force, where bribes and extortion have become common practices. This undermines public trust and leads to a perception of the police acting against the interests of the community. - {Human Rights Violations} Numerous instances of brutality, extrajudicial killings (notably by units like the now-disbanded SARS - Special Anti-Robbery Squad), and abusive behavior towards the citizens have contributed to this negative perception. 3. The Safer Nigeria Initiative - {Protests and Advocacy} Movements such as #EndSARS have highlighted the grievances of citizens against police misconduct and have called for reform. These protests bring to light the demands of Nigerian citizens for a police force that protects rather than oppresses. - {Calls for Reform} There have been various calls from civil society for reforming the police, focusing on better training, accountability, and community policing as a means of restoring faith in the force. 4. Societal Impact - {Fear and Distrust} The perception of the police as an entity working against the masses creates an atmosphere of fear and distrust. This can lead to underreporting of crimes and reluctance to cooperate with law enforcement. - {Impact on Crime Rates} Distrust in the police may deter effective policing and thus contribute to rising crime rates as communities feel unprotected. 5. The Need for Reform - {Community Policing} There is a growing recognition that policing needs to be community-focused, transparent, and accountable to the people it serves. - {Legislative and Structural Changes} Effective reforms may require legal changes, restructuring the police hierarchy, and implementing new training programs to focus on human rights and community relations. Finally The sentiment that the Nigerian police force was designed against the Nigerian masses speaks to a broader issue of accountability, trust, and the need for substantial reforms within the police system. Ongoing dialogues, public protests, and calls for systemic change are crucial for reshaping the police force into an institution that genuinely serves and protects all Nigerians. A focus on community engagement, transparency, and accountability is essential for rebuilding trust and ensuring that the police serve their intended purpose.Since the Nigeria still not in control of the force nothing will be done to make it work , to me (JTT) I don't expect anything meaningful from them until Nigeria create her own police force.
