  • *TOPIC: MARRIAGE: PRINCIPLE ON HOW TO MANAGE MONEY IN A HOME*(Series 7)

    *Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 21:5

*"The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance and advantage, But everyone who acts in haste comes surely to poverty."*(AMP)

Yesterday, we started looking at how to get out of debt. We shall continue from where we stopped:

*2) Analyze your current budget:* List all necessary expenses in order of importance. List only those things which are actual needs. Do not list things which you can do without. Determine the amount you have left over after necessary expenses. This should be applied to your debts on a regular basis.

Keep this fact in mind: *You may have money on hand, but if you owe someone else, the amount that you owe is not rightfully yours. It belongs to the person you owe.* Sometimes as christian, we just need to make some decisions that will make our marriage heaven on earth.

*3) Decide on the payments you can make to each creditor:* Determine to pay each creditor something regularly until the debt is paid. *Some bills will require larger monthly payments than others.* Decide on the maximum payment you can make to each creditor on a regular basis. *Once your list is made, put a date by each debt to indicate when you plan to have that debt paid in full.* Your plan should represent an earnest and sincere effort on your part to meet your obligations.

In order for your plan to work, *you will need to stop any expenditures not essential for living. Discontinue credit buying. Pay for things as you get them. Keep a written record of what you spend so that you know exactly where your money is going.*

*4) Present your new payment plan:* Talk personally with each creditor. Explain your situation and show him your plan. *Ask for his agreement with your plan for paying the debt you owe him.*

It is important that you keep your word and do what you promise to do. *If for any reason you are unable to make a payment on time, be sure to notify the creditor involved.* The book of Proverbs says; *"....get wisdom and in all things, get understanding."* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. Good morning and do have a great day, week, peace.

*Prayer point:* Holy Spirit, help me with divine understanding, I reject ignorant in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

  • *A SPECIAL PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN HOMES (MARRIAGES).*

    *Scripture Reading:* Psalm 107:20

*"He sent His word and healed them, And rescued them from their destruction"*(AMP).

I am led in the spirit to pray for all Christians homes (marriages) because It's the Lord's will to see our MARRIAGES bringing honor, impacting lives, preaching Christ as the center of love and fulfilling purpose of creation. *There won't be need to visit the hospital if you are not sick, so many marriages is sick and only the Lord can heal it because He His the CEO, the founder.* By your word I ask that every husband and wife will turn to You, Lord Jesus, and remember that You are their First Love - their sure foundation in Jesus Christ name.

*I also pray specifically for husbands to have such a deep and sacrificial love for their wives; they will be willing to lay down their lives for them. Help them to care for their wives as they care for their own bodies, feeding them, nurturing them, and providing for them in the most loving of ways(Ephesians 5:25-29).*

*I pray for wives to dismiss the belief that submission is a sign of weakness and instead embrace it as a powerful example of the Holy Spirit in them. Dear Lord, give them a sense of great joy in submitting to their husbands as is fitting to You (Ephesians 5:22-24). Let there be a healthy, holy balance of give-and-take that is full of love, mercy, and gentleness.* Most of all, Lord, build a solid foundation for every marriage committed to You. Brick by brick, establish the groundwork for couples - no matter how long they've been married - to build upon Christ Jesus and thrive in their marriages as a witness of Your work in their lives in Jesus Christ name.

I ask for a special blessing on marriage in general, as a sacred union between a man and a woman(Genesis 1:26-28). I pray for a hedge of protection around this union that Your mighty hand will lead couples to honor you in their relationships and seek You in all things.

Holy Spirit, help both the husbands and the wives to always drink from their own well and also, help the husbands to always be satisfied with the breast of their own wives (Proverbs 5:15-19). And according to (John 2:1-11), *is there any marriage that their wine got finished in the journey of life and they were stranded or the enemy came to stole their wine away out of their carelessness, Lord Jesus, let there be a fresh wine and oil in their homes, this I ask through Jesus Christ our Lord and redeemer. Amen!*

Good morning and do have a great day, peace.

  • JAPA TO HELL: ‘I sold my father’s house for ₦45 million to relocate to Canada, one year after I’m still jobless”

A former student of Lagos State University (LASU), John Chukwudi, has shared a heartbreaking story about his decision to sell his father’s house for ₦45 million to relocate to Canada.

He revealed that the dire situation in Nigeria, particularly the frustrations caused by the government’s policies and mismanagement, drove him to seek a better life abroad.

The student expressed feelings of desperation and disappointment, highlighting how the challenges of living in Nigeria made them feel that leaving was their only option.

His plea underscores the struggles faced by many young Nigerians who feel compelled to abandon their homes in search of greater opportunities and a more stable future.

After the passing of his father, he made the difficult decision to sell the family home, a beloved residence filled with memories, for a significant sum of ₦45 million.

This money was intended to serve as a foundation for a fresh start in Canada, a country he believed held greater opportunities for his future.

With high hopes and dreams, he embarked on this new journey, imagining a life free from the struggles he faced back in Nigeria.

However, as the weeks turned into months, he found himself grappling with the harsh reality of unemployment in a foreign land. A year has now passed since his arrival, and despite his diligent efforts to secure employment, he remains unemployed.

His frustration is palpable, and the sense of helplessness weighs heavily on him as he navigates the complexities of adapting to a new culture while searching for employment.

As he reflects on the tough decisions he made, the emotional toll of selling his father’s house becomes even more pronounced. He contemplates the sacrifices he endured and is faced with the bitter realization of the steep costs associated with seeking opportunities abroad, questioning whether the gamble he took was worth the outcome.

Attacking the Nigerian government, Chukwudi said: “As a graduate, I was struggling to eat, except I relied on my parent, at a point I was ashamed because everything had to come from my parents. The Nigerian government has put people under unnecessary pressure to take some drastic decisions. I left the country due to bad government nothing else.

“After I graduated from LASU in Lagos, I went back to Enugu to learn fashion deigning profession, after few years I returned back to Lagos but the most annoying thing is that I could not see a good fashion firm to get me employed, but one of my cousins whom I used to sew for told me I would be needed in Canada and I would make more money from what I am doing, I told my parents, he told us how much it will cost me and still told us how many months it will take me to recover such money back if I can take such decisions. My dad took a big gamble to sell his house in Anifowoshe and relocated back to Enugu, hoping that after one year, I should be able to buy new house for him. I am already using 13th month in Canada, I am only doing some useless jobs, unfortunately, my cousin has abandoned me.

Speaking further on how much he sold his father’s bungalow at Anifowoshe, Ikeja-Lagos, he said: “Of course my parent had planned to relocate back to Enugu due to demolition of houses in Lagos, so he took that decision when the Canada opportunity came up and hope that I will buy a bigger house in less than a year after getting to Canada. We sold the house N45,000,000 and we took N40 million to process my Canada relocation in 2024.”

  • *TOPIC: DRINK WATER FROM YOUR OWN WELL.*(Series 11)

    *Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 5:13-14

*“I have not listened to the voice of my teachers, Nor have I inclined my ear to those who instructed me. “I was almost in total ruin In the midst of the assembly and congregation.”*(AMP)

Continuation from where I stopped yesterday.

*8) Financial Implications:* There can be financial repercussions from adultery. In a divorce, for instance, the adulterer can be required to pay alimony or child support through out his dear life and it can be on high side of him. That's if from the man's side. But to the woman, in some cases, she bear the financial implications all alone.

You’ll discover that agreeing on a financial settlement with your ex-spouse is essential to moving past a divorce. Finding the ideal answer is crucial since it could have a long-term financial and emotional impact on you. *Marital misconduct might be used as evidence against your spouse if your financial stability has suffered due to their adultery.*

In this situation, your spouse can be required to pay additional alimony due to their adultery. Failure to listen to some instructions can result into marital crisis. Read today's Scripture again.

*9) Damage to one’s testimony and witness for Christ:* God frequently compares His connection with His people in the Bible to a marriage covenant. There is a love and faithfulness expectation.

The law likewise safeguarded marriage as a representation of the faith. *Paul advised husbands to treat their spouses with the same level of devotion as Christ showed the church. Because it depicts our relationship with God, marriage is related to Christ.*

Jesus confirmed the Old Testament idea of a man leaving his family to become one flesh with his bride in Matthew 19:5–6. This verse proves that Christ did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. It also illustrates how crucial fidelity is in a marriage. Jesus said, *“Therefore, let not man separate that which God has joined together.”* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. Good morning and do have a great day, peace.

*Prayer point:* Father, restore my marriage in your mercy. Quench the fire of separation in our home in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

  • *TOPIC: DRINK WATER FROM YOUR OWN WELL.*(Series 1)

    *Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 5:15

*"Drink water from your own cistern [of a pure marriage relationship] And fresh running water from your own well."*(AMP)

It's my earnest prayer that the Lord we open the eyes of our understanding as we begin this series in Jesus name. Amen!

We are in such a generation that sex has graduated out of God's own original plan, now to child play and demonic means of destroying glorious destinies. *Sex is everywhere now. It's in our own generation we see children having sex and even the parents see nothing wrong in it.* You see it on social media everyday how sex is being abused and the worse part of it is polluting the altar of God. So many ministers of God has release themselves for lust and the devil trick them into fornication and adultery right there at the altar of God.

*In God’s institution of marriage, sex is wonderful, beautiful and perfect. Outside of it, you are inviting problems that you might not correct in an entire lifetime.* Am sure many of you might have read the scripture above from the book of Proverbs but not many realize that it is talking about sex. King Solomon instructs us to continually drinking water out of our own cistern or well. Comparing sex to *'drinking water and well',* does it really make sense to you?

The Lord is speaking figuratively and calls sex “water”. This is very foundational and instructional to all of us. There are very few ways that sin manifests its dominion over humanity that can be compared to sexual craving. It is the idolatry of the modern world that has replaced worshipping of stones and sticks in the ancient world. *However, God is the Author of sex. The verse above gives us one of His purposes for sex by calling sex water. Water satisfies the thirst or inner need or longing of a person’s soul.*

That is how God originally created sex to meet a deep and inner longing of a person’s body and soul. *However, He tells us above “drink water from your own cistern”, meaning you should have sexual relations only with your wife or husband only.*

Sex outside of marriage is drinking water from another person’s well, whether before marriage or after marriage. *Either the water is clean or not, either is stinking or not, either is forbidden or not you don't care and all you want is to satisfy yourself of five minutes enjoyment and bring in disaster into your life.*

Satan is destroying lives, homes, and entire communities with uncontrollable sexual passions and desires. To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. Good morning and do have a great weekend, peace.

*Prayer point:* Thank you Holy Spirit for this revelation, and I ask for forgiveness for yielding to lust of the flesh. Forgive me dear Lord in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

  • When they were in power, former First Lady Aisha Buhari was in a constant battle for control of her husband and power with the power brokers around her husband.

Apparently, her late husband trusted a group of cronies led by his nephew Mamman Daura, Sabiu Tunde, and the late Abba Kyari, who were in charge and were the de facto presidents.

Thus, they were in charge and determined who got what.

That Emiefele was so powerful because of the power they allowed him as CBN governor.

According to some schools of thought, if the late Abba Kyari were to be alive, he would not have allowed the current president, Asiwaju, to emerge as the APC presidential flag bearer, let alone win the election.

Before they left power, Buhari's nephew, Sabiu Tunde, was the richest young Nigerian under 40.

Aisha Buhari was relegated to the background and was told by her husband that she belonged in the kitchen when she complained.

She fought, she wailed, and she became a podcaster at one point.

She would give orders as the wife of a sitting president, but Mamman Daura or Sabiu Tunde would overrule her, knowing nothing would happen.

Aisha Buhari's case was made worse by the fact that Buhari comes from a feudalist culture that has no regard for women.

Aisha Buhari and Tunde Sabiu once had an intense clash at Aso Rock that had her ADC shooting at him; the man scaled the fence of Aso Rock, running for his life.

As expected, the late Buhari sided with his nephew, Sabiu Tunde, against his wife, and Aisha's security operatives, who attempted to kill Tunde, were picked up and arrested by the then Inspector General of Police.

Aisha had to come on social media to appeal to the IGP to release her security operatives because she was powerless.

Tunde gave an order for their arrest, and there was nothing she could do to reverse it.

Frustrated by the humiliation she received at the hands of the power cabal, Aisha had to relocate from Nigeria to Dubai before moving to the UK.

The power cabal even made attempts to marry a second wife for the late Buhari at the height of their fight with Aisha, just to humiliate her further.

Buhari disrespected his wife and allowed wolves to ravage her in a way that Tinubu has not done to his wife, Remi.

Today, Muhammadu Buhari is no more, but before he died, he was nursed and taken care of by Aisha Buhari and the kids on his sickbed.

Sabiu Tunde, who was fond of humiliating her, was nowhere to be found.

When he died, it was still the same Aisha and the kids who brought his corpse home.

A lesson for my generation of men: when you become rich and powerful, take care of your wife and kids; bring them close, more than any other person, no matter how loyal the person is to you.

Don't allow a third party to come between you and your wife because of money and power.

When the chips are down, your family is all that you have left.

Every other person will move on. I have seen this happen again and again.

When they were in power, former First Lady Aisha Buhari was in a constant battle for control of her husband and power with the power brokers around her husband. • The United States President Donald Trump has asked some African countries to accept deported migrants who are not Africans.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the United States sent proposals to five West African presidents, asking them to take in migrants whose home countries won’t accept them.

Nigeria has rejected the United States request, citing they have bigger problems at home.

These are not citizens of those African nations, but people the U.S. wants to offload because their home countries have refused to take them back.

Nigeria’s Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar made the country’s position crystal clear: “We have enough problems of our own… We cannot accept Venezuelan deportees to Nigeria, for crying out loud,” he said.
