*Scripture Reading:* Hebrew 13:4

*"Marriage is to be held in honor among all [that is, regarded as something of great value], and the marriage bed undefiled [by immorality or by any sexual sin]; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous."*(AMP)

Still on consequences of drinking water from another person's well (adultery and fornication):

*6) Breaking of marital bond:* A marriage may suffer significantly as a result of Adultery or fornication. According to the Bible, Adultery is a sort of betrayal that has the potential to cause the marriage to fail and it has Spiritual implications. *When adultery occurs, the marriage bed is soiled, the adulterer is subject to God’s wrath, and the prospect of a divorce becomes a possibility* (Hebrews 13:4).

But Jesus also declares that Adultery is committed by everyone who separates from their marriage and marries another person in Matthew 19:9; *"I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery."*

Additionally, adultery has the power to ruin families and break apart marriages and disorganized the children. *God imposed the death sentence for adultery in the Old Testament (Leviticus 20:10), illustrating the seriousness of the transgression. In the end, infidelity causes devastation rather than rewards.*

*7) Negative impact on family and friends:* Family and friends are at a loss regarding how to react to someone who has committed adultery or what to do about the betrayed spouse. Proverbs 5:14 says;
*“I was almost in total ruin In the midst of the assembly and congregation.”*(AMP)

Some friends may have their own adultery-related “skeletons in the closet” and do not want to get engaged with someone else after committing adultery (Proverbs 7:7). In light of the dishonest lifestyle of a close friend or relative, other friends and family members may feel betrayed. They won’t continue uninterrupted fellowship until this betrayal of friendship is resolved.

Friendships might suffer a lot from adultery. The betrayal of their friend may leave the couple’s friends feeling upset, puzzled, and betrayed. *Additionally, the couple’s relationship may suffer permanent harm. Feelings of guilt, hurt, rage, and resentment can result from adultery. South African Exports to Face 30% US Tariff as Trump Targets African Trade

The United States has announced a significant increase in tariffs on imports from 20 African countries, with South African products facing the highest tarrifs of 30%.

The new tariffs, which take effect on August 7, were revealed by President Donald Trump in a statement on Thursday.

South Africa, the only country from sub-Saharan Africa to be singled out for the top-tier tariff rate, is expected to be severely impacted.

The United States is South Africa’s second-largest trading partner, and the move threatens to disrupt key export sectors including automotive, agriculture, and mining.

Neighboring countries Lesotho and Zimbabwe were also affected, though at a lower rate of 15%. Other African nations not included in the list will continue to face the 10% baseline tariff introduced in April.

Side note: It's high time Africa starts to trade within, and stop waiting for western validation. It's time to have a single trade currency for the whole of Africa, just like the Euro which is used by European countries to trade. Africa should not wait for the West to dictate its future, Africa should decide its own future. Let's create a single African currency which we can use to trade within. It's time.
