💥BREAKING! Peter Obi Is Your Next President By Igho David Peter Obi has officially submitted his application to the new coalition as a one term President. That one term is enough to change Nigeria. I once stated it in the first week of June that Mr. Peter Obi will go for one term and the North trust him enough to keep to his word. Peter Obi is your next president. You can take it to the bank. The entire South South and South East governors and lawmakers from these regions that ran to APC last month will work for the emergence of Peter Obi as president because he is from the South and they are now at peace because the North has kept to the zoning agreement. Atiku Abubakar made this huge sacrifice. He is not running for the presidency come 2027 and you can take it to the bank. Peter Obi is the best and only candidate that will easily defeat Tinubu with the Northern support from Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai , Sen David Mark , Sule Lamido , The AREWA Elders. Ahmed Datti will have to make Obi sacrifice him for Atiku and Buhari to hand pick Obi's VP. He will either be Obi's Minister of Justice and Attorney General or Chief of Staff #PeterObiIsComing Igho David writes from Abuja

Embrace Integrity, Olukoyede Urges Students The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede has charged students in the country to shun all forms of economic and financial crimes and embrace a life of integrity for a fulfilling future. He gave the charge recently during the induction of students of Excellent Kiddies Academy, Bwari, Abuja into EFCC’s Integrity Club. Represented by the Head of the Interface Unit of the Public Affairs Department of the EFCC, Assistant Commander of the EFCC I, Tony Orilade, Olukoyede emphasized the importance of moral uprightness among young people, urging them to surround themselves with individuals who uphold integrity and positive values. “To secure a brighter future, you must get it right from the beginning. Surround yourself with good people, friends and acquaintances that will help you grow in wisdom and integrity,” he said. While warning them against associating with individuals involved in financial crimes, he stated that negative influence from such people could draw them to criminal behaviours and that could in turn, earn them grave consequences. “Anyone who engages in financial crimes is on a path that leads to jail. Once convicted, such a person becomes an ex-convict and loses the opportunity to hold any public office in Nigeria. That is a heavy price to pay for associating with the wrong crowd,” he said. Olukoyede further stated that the project of inaugurating EFCC’s Integrity Club in primary and secondary schools was part of the Commission’s policy of “catching them young,” which is about nurturing children to be ambassadors of integrity in their homes, schools, communities, and the country at large. Also speaking at the event, the Head of Enlightenment and Reorientation Unit of the Commission, Assistant Commander of the EFCC II, Aisha Mohammed, enlightened the children on the functions and activities of the EFCC. She encouraged them to be honest, disciplined, and upright in their daily lives, noting that integrity is a crucial ingredient for success. “Youths must understand that honesty and integrity are values that never go out of fashion. They open doors and keep you on the right path in life,” she said. The highlight of the induction ceremony was a quiz competition that dwelt on EFCC and its operations. Two students, Glory Okinbaliyi and Divine Oyaniyi Bimbola emerged winners and were rewarded with android smartphones. In his vote of thanks, the Integrity Club Master of the school, Mr. Gbenga Jatau, expressed appreciation to the EFCC Chairman and management his team for bringing the club to the school. “On behalf of the management, staff, and students of Excellent Kiddies Academy, I extend our heartfelt gratitude to the EFCC Chairman for this great honour. We applaud the Commission’s unwavering commitment to fighting all forms of economic and financial crimes and building a better Nigeria,” he said.

The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) hosted a roundtable discussion on the theme “Reviewing Petroleum Agreements for the Good of Ghana” at the IEA Dialogue Centre, Accra. The discussion featured a presentation by Mr. Victor Anku-Tsede (Barrister and Solicitor) and brought together key stakeholders including individual experts, relevant institutions, and the media. Alleged N110b Fraud: Court Adjourns Yahaya Bello’s Trial to July 8 Justice Maryanne Anenih of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Maitama, Abuja, on Wednesday, adjourned the N110 billion fraud trial of the immediate past Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, and two others until July 8; October 8 and 9; and November 12 and 13. Bello is facing trial alongside Umar Oricha and Abdulsalami Hudu, on16-count charges bordering on criminal breach of trust and money laundering to the tune of N110.4 billion. The offence, according to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is contrary to Sections 96 and 311 of the Penal Code Law Cap.89, Laws of Northern Nigeria, 1963, and punishable under Section 312 of the same law. At the resumed hearing of the matter on Wednesday, EFCC first witness, Fabian Nwora completed his evidence. Nwora is the chairman of EFAB Property which handled the property that is the subject of the suit. He told the court that he opened negotiations on the said property but that the negotiation was concluded by Segun Adeleke, who is the EFCC second witness (PW2) Nwora had, at a previous hearing, testified that he was invited to the EFCC on Feb. 8, 2023. He explained that it was in regard to a transaction between Shehu Bello and EFAB Property on a property located at No. 1 Ikogosi Street, Maitama. He noted that it was Mr Shehu who approached him about the property. Adeleke, led by the prosecution counsel, Kemi Pinheiro, SAN, reiterated that, in 2020, his chairman, Nwora, gave him the brief on the property, which Shehu showed interest in. He said the deal was concluded and N500 million paid for the said property. When asked further what happened afterwards, the witness said Bello returned to their office, with the agreement. “He told me that he was no longer interested in the property as a result of the EFCC investigation. “My chairman said he would revert after consulting with our company secretary,” he said. Pinheiro asked about some documents issued to one Nuhu Muhammed in respect of a property in the Gwarinpa area. The witness confirmed that the documents were issued to the said Muhammed after he purchased one of the units of the detached bungalows belonging to EFAB Property Limited. At that point, Counsel for Mr Shehu and the second defendant Joseph Daudu, SAN, objected. He said “My lord, there is a clear disconnect between the documents sought to be tendered and the foundation laid by the witness himself.” The prosecution, however, said the objection was misconceived and it was subsequently overruled by the Judge. Justice Anenih adjourned the case until July 8 and Oct 8, 2025, for continuation of hearing.
