  • As a mom, I have learnt that your children will start disobeying you even from the womb. I’m not kidding. This is something I realised after giving birth to David and Michelle. Let me explain.

When I was pregnant with David, I only asked this boy for one thing. I asked him to make sure he comes out carrying the same dimples his daddy has. If you know my husband, you will know that his dimple is very very “dimply” Those dimples are always the highlight of my day, especially when he smiles. So, when I was pregnant with David, I repeatedly asked him to make sure he comes out with those dimples as well, but did he obey me? Capital no!

Fast forward to his sister, Michelle, I kept repeating the same instruction when she was in the womb. I even had to touch my husband‘s dimples countless times and touch my tummy and kept repeating same thing. Did she obey me? No. She went ahead to follow her brother’s footsteps.

Why can’t these children obey simple instruction? They both look like my husband but forgot to get the most important thing I needed, the ultimate dimples.

Kids whine you eh but no loose your cool

"I'm not a Nigerian artist. I don't want people calling me just Nigerian. That is d!srespectful.
I'm not a Nigerian artist. When people call me Nigerian, I feel like my dreams are failing. I'm African, and my dream is to make Africa united. When I see Nigeria and South Africa fighting every time, I cry. America is successful today because all the countries(states) that make up America don't see any difference in each other. Their strength comes from unity. When you say you are from the US, people respect you without asking which state you are from, but for Africa, it's always us fighting each other. The day Africa becomes the United States of Africa, we will have the strongest nation in the world. Our music industry will grow, and our sound will be global. Africans are strong, but disunity and hate weakens us."

  • ADC Coalition And Their Military Era ‘Telephone Is Not For The Poor’ Mentality

David Mark is 77 years old, and Rauf Aregbesola is 68. And these are the people who will lead the new coalition party. Can you, as a Nigerian youth, have any hope in such a gerontocratic party, headed by a man who inspired the headline, ‘Telephones Are Not For The Poor’, and another, who as Osun Governor caused religious crisis in his state by forcing Christian Missionary schools to merge with schools they had no affiliation with, which led to religious violence in Osun?

What is their purpose for coming together? They have stated it clearly. It is not to make telephones affordable for the poor, but to simply take power from President Bola Tinubu.

I just corrected him that yes, we were colleagues in the 8th Senate; but 42-years ago, David Mark was the governor of Niger State when I was in a science secondary school in the same Niger State.

  • Embrace Integrity, Olukoyede Urges Students

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede has charged students in the country to shun all forms of economic and financial crimes and embrace a life of integrity for a fulfilling future.

He gave the charge recently during the induction of students of Excellent Kiddies Academy, Bwari, Abuja into EFCC’s Integrity Club.

Represented by the Head of the Interface Unit of the Public Affairs Department of the EFCC, Assistant Commander of the EFCC I, Tony Orilade, Olukoyede emphasized the importance of moral uprightness among young people, urging them to surround themselves with individuals who uphold integrity and positive values.

“To secure a brighter future, you must get it right from the beginning. Surround yourself with good people, friends and acquaintances that will help you grow in wisdom and integrity,” he said.

While warning them against associating with individuals involved in financial crimes, he stated that negative influence from such people could draw them to criminal behaviours and that could in turn, earn them grave consequences.

“Anyone who engages in financial crimes is on a path that leads to jail. Once convicted, such a person becomes an ex-convict and loses the opportunity to hold any public office in Nigeria. That is a heavy price to pay for associating with the wrong crowd,” he said.

Olukoyede further stated that the project of inaugurating EFCC’s Integrity Club in primary and secondary schools was part of the Commission’s policy of “catching them young,” which is about nurturing children to be ambassadors of integrity in their homes, schools, communities, and the country at large.

Also speaking at the event, the Head of Enlightenment and Reorientation Unit of the Commission, Assistant Commander of the EFCC II, Aisha Mohammed, enlightened the children on the functions and activities of the EFCC. She encouraged them to be honest, disciplined, and upright in their daily lives, noting that integrity is a crucial ingredient for success.

“Youths must understand that honesty and integrity are values that never go out of fashion. They open doors and keep you on the right path in life,” she said.

The highlight of the induction ceremony was a quiz competition that dwelt on EFCC and its operations. Two students, Glory Okinbaliyi and Divine Oyaniyi Bimbola emerged winners and were rewarded with android smartphones.

In his vote of thanks, the Integrity Club Master of the school, Mr. Gbenga Jatau, expressed appreciation to the EFCC Chairman and management his team for bringing the club to the school.

“On behalf of the management, staff, and students of Excellent Kiddies Academy, I extend our heartfelt gratitude to the EFCC Chairman for this great honour. We applaud the Commission’s unwavering commitment to fighting all forms of economic and financial crimes and building a better Nigeria,” he said.

  • “When I started acting, Nollywood was very different. We didn’t have much money, and the cameras were simple. Making movies was hard work.

One day, I was offered a role in “Sakobi: The Snáke Girl.” At first, I was not sure I wanted to do it. The story was unusual, and the pay was small. I thought maybe it wasn’t the right role for me.

But the director, Andy Amenechi, told me, “Gentle Jack, you are the perfect man for this role. You don’t talk much, but you look strông and calm. This character needs you.”

I trusted him and accepted the role.

Filming was tóugh. We worked long hours, sometimes under the hot sun or in bád weather. But I gave it my all.

When the movie came out, people loved it. They called me the “silent wárrior,” and that movie made me famous. It changed my life forever.

Looking back, I’m glad I didn’t say no. Sometimes, the hárdest choices lead to the best rewards.” - Gentle jack

  • “Supporting Peter Obi's coalition would be a gravę mistake for Arewa” – Angry Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri has warned Arewa against supporting Peter Obi's coalition, citing concerns about Obi's past actions and potential consequences for the North. According to Omokri, if Arewa backs Obi's coalition and gives him the Presidential ticket, they may face marginalization similar to what Northern Cameroon experienced after Ahmadou Ahidjo's resignation in 1982.

Omokri highlighted President Bola Tinubu's loyalty and integrity in supporting former President Muhammadu Buhari, suggesting that Arewa has a reliable Southern ally in Tinubu. He raised questions about Obi's credibility, citing allegations of plotting against Muslims, defending IPOB, and failing to condemn IPOB's activities, and appointing a Christian coordinator in Sokoto.

Following Peter Obi's appeal to Nigerians about his single four-year presidential bid, Reno Omokri said: “If Arewa makes the mistake of backing the coalition and giving their Presidential ticket to Peter Obi, exactly what happened to Northern Cameroon after Ahmadou Ahidjo resigned on November 4, 1982, is what will happen to Northern Nigeria. Go back and study history.

The Hausa and Fulani are the most marginalised ethnicities in Cameroon, and Paul Biya kept none of the promises he made to Ahidjo.

But in Nigeria, Mutanen Arewa has a Southern friend they can rely on, in President Bola Tinubu. He showed his loyalty and integrity by standing with Buhari and ensuring he was elected and reelected.

General Buhari had tried thrice without Asiwaju Tinubu and failed each time. But in 2015, Jagaban stood with him. And that fidelity made the difference that led to victory:

Now, do you want to leave him and entrust power to a man who was caught on a leaked audio plotting "religious war" against the Muslim Ummah, and has in the past made other disparaging remarks about Mutanen Arewa?

A man, like Peter Obi, who defended the Indigenous People of Biafra and said they were not terrorists? So who killed Harira, the pregnant Arewa woman from Adamawa, and her four underage daughters, including Fatima, 9; Khadijah, 7; Hadiza, 5; and Zaituna, 2, who were killed in broad daylight at Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State?

Who killed Ahmed Gulak in Owerri in May of 2021?

Today, millions of innocent Nigerian citizens will be forced to observe the infamous Monday sit-at-home in the Southeast. Has this same Peter Obi ever condemned IPOB or their sit-at-home?

Mutanen Arewa may recall that in the most Islamic state of Nigeria, the seat of the Caliphate, Peter Obi named Ifeanyi Ezeagu as the state coordinator of his campaign for Sokoto. He also named John Ezeigbe the coordinator for Lagos state.

And this is the man telling you to give him power, and he will do only one term?

A man who could not keep a promise to Ojukwu will now stay true to his pledge to Arewa?

Believe that, and prepare for the Cameroon treatment.”
