The Night's Soliloquy: When Sleep Eludes
As I lie here, wide awake in the dead of night, I'm reminded of the countless others who share my plight. The darkness outside seems to mirror the turmoil within, a constant reminder that rest is elusive. My mind wanders, a restless wanderer, refusing to settle on a single thought. The world outside my window is hushed, a silent witness to my wakefulness.
In these quiet hours, my thoughts are my companions, and they often stray to the events of the day. Regrets, worries, and anxieties creep in, like thieves in the night, stealing what little peace I might have found. The bed, once a sanctuary, now feels like a battleground, where I fight the war of wakefulness.
The clock ticks away, a relentless drumbeat, marking the passage of time. Each tick seems to echo through my mind, a reminder that sleep is not coming. I try to calm my racing thoughts, to quiet the cacophony of worries that plague me. But like a stubborn melody, they persist, refusing to fade into the background.
As the night wears on, the world outside begins to stir. The first light of dawn creeps over the horizon, a gentle reminder that a new day is dawning. Perhaps, I think, this new day will bring new opportunities, a fresh start. Maybe tonight's wakefulness is just a precursor to tomorrow's possibilities.
Until then, I'll lie here, awake in the darkness, and let my thoughts wander. For in these quiet hours, I find a strange sort of freedom, a chance to reflect, to dream, and to plan. And when sleep finally claims me, I'll surrender to its gentle grasp, ready to face whatever tomorrow may bring.

The Tanzanian media personality claimed Priscilla’s online activities are distracting her countrymen from what really matters; the country’s upcoming elections.
Priscilla Ojo has been strongly warned by Tanzanian media personality Mange Kimambi about her online activities with husband Juma Jux.
The Nigerian media personality who only just relocated to Tanzania following her marriage to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has been sharing videos online of how she’s been settling into the Eastern African country.
She wrote,
I'm appalled by your audacity! Referring to my daughter and her husband in such a manner, calling their content stupid, trying to drum fear and intimidation, this is unacceptable. As a parent, I've taught her to be confident and authentic. The Mkambala are very peaceful, but note i don't joke with my daughter.
Regarding the wedding rumors, its not your government who gave us money, it's a cultural tradition in my family, the wife's family cover costs, i wanted an elaborate wedding for my daughter in Nigeria and we the Nigerians gave her one.
I'm an activist, and as one, I stand by my principles and fight for what I believe in, without insulting anyone or targeting anyone, True leadership requires presence and courage. It's laughable that you, living in America, think you can dictate to my daughter and her husband, who are living their lives in Tanzania.
Keep my daughter out of your affairs. She'll post what she likes, when she likes, and how she likes. She doesn't need you to love her. She is very loved and well loved,
We protect our own..... Never forget that........
