  • *TOPIC: DRINK WATER FROM YOUR OWN WELL.*(Series 7)

    *Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 6:27-29

*"Can a man take fire to his chest And his clothes not be burned? Or can a man walk on hot coals And his feet not be scorched? So is the one who goes in to his neighbor’s wife; Whoever touches her will not be found innocent or go unpunished."*(AMP)

Drinking water from another well is engaging in sexual activity with a person who is not one’s partner in a committed partnership, such as a marriage. Adultery is one of the Ten Commandments and is seen as a sin in Christianity and those who practice it will face punishment from God and will not have access to eternal life. *Christian doctrine holds that Adultery and fornication are forbidden and is against God’s design for marriage and might result in spiritual death.*

Let consider the Spiritual consequences of drinking water from another well (Adultery and fornication):

*1) Damaged Relationship with God and other people:* God kicks against Adultery in exodus 20:14, which says,  *”you shall not commit adultery.”* And When you go against this great commandment as youth fornicating around or married by involving in sexual sin with other people’s partners, you will have a damaged relationship with God because God does not tolerate sin.

Spiritual repercussions such as losing closeness to God and a reduction in spiritual strength and authority may result from this. Also, when an adulterer or fornicators engages in sexual immorality, he also sins against other people. *The Christian is expected to provide an example for the world to follow, yet if he commits adultery or fornication, he or she fails miserably and becomes bad influence in the society.*

Aside from a damaged relationship with God, such person will have issues with other people because when you sleep with their husband or wife, you steal from them, and you can attract physical or emotional abuse. Such can't escape both physical and emotional abuse. Meditate on today's Scripture again. (Proverbs 6: 27-29). *God has given him or her the responsibility of telling the lost about Jesus, but how will he or she be able to do so if he or she has committed adultery? Any christian that engages in adultery and fornication has lost his or her strength in God.* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. Good morning and do have a fruitful AUGUST, peace.

*Prayer point:* I refuse to bring shame to the name of the Lord and to the body of Christ, I will not be devil end time instrument in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

  • Who is the devil to you?

Many individuals believe that society has oversimplified or misunderstood the notion of evil. The following are several perspectives on this issue:

    1. **Cultural Interpretations**: Different cultures and religions have varying definitions of evil, often shaped by historical contexts, moral frameworks, and societal norms. What one society views as evil, another may see as acceptable or even necessary.

    2. **Moral Relativism**: The idea that morality is not absolute but rather relative to the individual or culture suggests that definitions of good and evil can vary widely. This can lead to misunderstandings about the nature of evil when viewed from different perspectives.

    3. **Psychological Factors**: Some argue that evil actions can stem from psychological issues, trauma, or social conditions rather than inherent malevolence. This perspective emphasizes understanding the root causes of harmful behavior rather than simply labeling it as evil.

    4. **Complexity of Human Nature**: Humans are capable of both good and evil, and many actions fall into a gray area. Simplifying individuals into categories of "good" or "evil" can overlook the complexities of human motivation and behavior.

    5. **Societal Influences**: The influence of society, including media, politics, and education, can shape perceptions of evil. For example, fear and misunderstanding can lead to the demonization of certain groups or ideas.

Overall, the concept of evil is multifaceted and often requires a deeper exploration beyond surface-level judgments. What are your thoughts on this?
