President John Dramani Mahama has directed the Ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs, and Transport to collaborate on implementing Ghana's e-visa system.

This move aims to simplify Visa Applications. The e-visa system will ease the visa application process, reducing paperwork and bureaucracy as well as boosting tourism and business By streamlining visa applications, ghana can become a more attractive destination for tourists and businesses, promoting economic growth.

This initiative is part of President Mahama's vision to leverage digital technology to drive development and modernize Ghana's infrastructure.The e-visa system will be extended to cover sea and land border posts.The system will be integrated with Ghana's e-gate systems also be designed to handle advanced cargo processing.

This move is expected to improve Ghana's business environment, making it easier for foreigners to visit and invest in the country. By embracing digital solutions, Ghana can enhance its competitiveness and attract more investment

Drinking water from another well is engaging in sexual activity with a person who is not one’s partner in a committed partnership, such as a marriage. Adultery is one of the Ten Commandments and is seen as a sin in Christianity and those who practice it will face punishment from God and will not have access to eternal life. *Christian doctrine holds that Adultery and fornication are forbidden and is against God’s design for marriage and might result in spiritual death.*

Let consider the Spiritual consequences of drinking water from another well (Adultery and fornication):

*1) Damaged Relationship with God and other people:* God kicks against Adultery in exodus 20:14, which says,  *”you shall not commit adultery.”* And When you go against this great commandment as youth fornicating around or married by involving in sexual sin with other people’s partners, you will have a damaged relationship with God because God does not tolerate sin.

Spiritual repercussions such as losing closeness to God and a reduction in spiritual strength and authority may result from this. Also, when an adulterer or fornicators engages in sexual immorality, he also sins against other people. *The Christian is expected to provide an example for the world to follow, yet if he commits adultery or fornication, he or she fails miserably and becomes bad influence in the society.*

Aside from a damaged relationship with God, such person will have issues with other people because when you sleep with their husband or wife, you steal from them, and you can attract physical or emotional abuse. Such can't escape both physical and emotional abuse. Meditate on today's Scripture again. (Proverbs 6: 27-29). *God has given him or her the responsibility of telling the lost about Jesus, but how will he or she be able to do so if he or she has committed adultery? South African Exports to Face 30% US Tariff as Trump Targets African Trade

The United States has announced a significant increase in tariffs on imports from 20 African countries, with South African products facing the highest tarrifs of 30%.

The new tariffs, which take effect on August 7, were revealed by President Donald Trump in a statement on Thursday.

South Africa, the only country from sub-Saharan Africa to be singled out for the top-tier tariff rate, is expected to be severely impacted.

The United States is South Africa’s second-largest trading partner, and the move threatens to disrupt key export sectors including automotive, agriculture, and mining.

Neighboring countries Lesotho and Zimbabwe were also affected, though at a lower rate of 15%. Other African nations not included in the list will continue to face the 10% baseline tariff introduced in April.

Side note: It's high time Africa starts to trade within, and stop waiting for western validation. It's time to have a single trade currency for the whole of Africa, just like the Euro which is used by European countries to trade. Africa should not wait for the West to dictate its future, Africa should decide its own future. Let's create a single African currency which we can use to trade within. It's time.

EFCC’s Operations At Majesty Estate, Port Harcourt

In response to a distress call by residents of Majesty Estate, Nigerian Television Authority, NTA Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, concerning the nefarious activities of internet fraudsters in their neighbourhood, operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Friday, August 1, 2025 carried out a sting operation that yielded 37 suspected fraudsters.

In the course of the operation, the apartment of one of the residents that the Commission’s intelligence flagged was visited. For some inexplicable reasons, the residents refused to open their doors even when operatives of the Commission properly introduced themselves and announced their mission. On this score, one of the doors of the apartment was prized open and search operations were carried out. No arrest or recovery was made and no unprofessional conduct happened in the course of the operations. The Commission finds reports of a viral video of a broken door and harassment of residents in the Estate strange and unwarranted as many residents profusely appreciated and commended the Commission for coming to their aid in making some arrests of suspected internet fraudsters.

The Commission remains resolute in upholding sound professional conduct in its operations and will not hesitate to take disciplinary measures against any of its operatives found to be overzealous in the discharge of his duties.
