  • *TOPIC: BELIEVING GOD FOR THE MIRACULOUS.*(Series 9)

    *Scripture Reading:* Psalm 78:40-42

*"How often they rebelled against Him in the wilderness And grieved Him in the desert! Again and again, they tempted God, And distressed the Holy One of Israel. They did not remember [the miracles worked by] His [powerful] hand, Nor the day when He redeemed them from the enemy,"*(AMP)

Am glad to welcome you to the second half of the year 2025. Thank God you make it to JULY. This month will be your month of EVIDENCE and you will experience LOUDER TESTIMONY because God will perfect all that concerns you this month in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

In many occasions, in the lives of His children, God desire that they should see His mighty works but unfortunately, God will be displeased. Think about when Jesus came to Nazareth. He was ‘God in the flesh,’ yet the Bible says, *"And He could not do a miracle there at all [because of their unbelief] except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. He wondered at their unbelief. And He was going around in the villages teaching."* (Mk. 6:5-6 AMP) Why? Because God has so designed things that OUR PART in miracles is to have faith in God and 0if we fail in our part, it will hindered God's move.

The Holy Spirit will be helping us to see why we LIMIT God in doing the miraculous in our lives:

*I). OUR LACK OF FAITH LIMITS GOD:* The Bible provides numerous examples where lack of faith on the part of some negatively impacted many. Some of these Bible examples are:

1.Ten of the Twelve Israelites Sent to Spy Out the Land of Canaan. The faith that these ten had in the power of God to give Israel victory over the inhabitants of Canaan was virtually non-existent.*“Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, ‘Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it." "But the men who had gone up with him said, ‘We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.’ And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, ‘The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight."*(Numb 13:30-33 NKJV)

The lack of faith on the part of the ten unbelieving spies brought frightening consequences to the Israelites. *These are the things to be noted in the christian journey. Is either you're a believer or unbeliever. If you're a believer, good but if you're unbeliever, is better you separate yourself from the fold so as not to invoke the wrath of God on the congregation because you will limit God's mighty hands as your presence would have polluted the minds of the congregation.* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. Good morning and do have a fruitful NEW MONTH, peace.

*Prayer Point:* Father, deliver me from the spirit of faithlessness that has been affecting my spiritual growth in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

  • *TOPIC: CHRISTIAN HOME: PILLARS THAT SUSTAIN MARRIAGES*(Series 2)

    *Scripture Reading:* 1 Corinthians 13:1-10, Ephesians 5:25

Yesterday, we started looking at our homes as christian, the pillars that contribute to the effectiveness of our Marriages. And the first pillar we looked at is JESUS. If our marriage is not standing on this rock, definitely it will collapse so quickly. *When we talk of fulfilling destiny and aligning to God's will, No marriage can work without Jesus.* The second pillar is:

*2) Love:* When asked, “Do you love your husband/wife?,” the answer should be based on actions toward one’s husband or wife. *If the answer is, “yes, I love my husband/wife,” then one should be saying, “I am giving myself to him/her.*

1Corinthians 13 defines love for us. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. *The summary of this definition of love is simply GIVING YOURSELF TO ONE ANOTHER.*

In describing love to husbands, Paul explains in Ephesians 5:25 that love is about giving, not feeling. *"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her".* This is the kind of love Jesus demonstrated that should be established in our marriages. When our homes is based on this fact, NO STORM WHATSOEVER THAT CAN SEPARATE THAT HOME for this is the will of God that we should love one another just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it.

NOTE: *If husband love his wife, he will tolerate her, correct in love and stay no matter what happens. And also, if wife love her husband, she will be totally submissive to him. Not minding his status or character.* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. Good morning and do happy Sunday, peace.

*Prayer point:* I put an end to pretends in our home today, help me to love my husband/wife and to give myself totally to our vow in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

  • #Iran Fires First #Hypersonic Missiles At Israel.

TEHRAN – Iran said on June 18 it has fired hypersonic missiles at Israel in the latest round of overnight strikes between the archfoes, hours after US President Donald Trump demanded the Islamic republic’s “unconditional surrender”.

In response to Mr Trump’s ultimatum, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said in a post on X: “The battle begins.”

“We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime. We will show the Zionists no mercy,” he said.

Mr Trump insists Washington has played no part in ally Israel’s bombing campaign, but also warned Iran his patience is wearing thin as the conflict enters a sixth day.

Israeli warplanes targeted the Iranian capital before dawn on June 18 after the military issued a warning on social media for civilians in an area known as District 18 to evacuate.

Iranian state media reported explosions ricocheting in the Piroozi, Sabalan and Sayyad areas of Tehran.

Israel’s military said it struck an Iranian centrifuge production facility and multiple weapons manufacturing sites.

Iranian news websites said Israel was also attacking a university linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in eastern Iran and the Khojir ballistic missile facility near Tehran.

In retaliation, Iran told residents of Tel Aviv to prepare for an attack, with the Revolutionary Guards claiming its hypersonic Fattah-1 missiles were “repeatedly shaking the shelters” in the commercial hub.

“The 11th wave of the proud Operation Honest Promise 3 using Fattah-1 missiles” was carried out, the Guards said in a statement broadcast on state television.

Hypersonic missiles travel at more than five times the speed of sound and can manoeuvre mid-flight, making them harder to track and intercept.

Iran also sent a “swarm of drones” towards Israel, where the army said it intercepted two over the Dead Sea area.

World powers have scrambled for an offramp, hoping to prevent the conflict from spiralling into a region-engulfing war.

In separate phone calls with his Iranian counterpart and US envoy Steve Witkoff late on June 17, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty urged a diplomatic solution.

Back in Washington on June 17, Mr Trump demanded the Islamic republic’s “unconditional surrender”.

He also boasted that the US could easily assassinate Iran’s supreme leader.

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘supreme leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” he wrote on his Truth Social platform.

He met with his National Security Council to discuss the conflict, ending after an hour and 20 minutes with no immediate public statement.

While he has repeatedly vowed to avoid wading into the “forever wars” of the Middle East, Mr Trump ordered the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier to the region along with a number of US military aircraft.

US officials stressed he has not yet made a decision about any intervention.

    Evacuations
Despite international alarm, neither side has backed off from the long-range blitz that began on June 18, when Israel launched an unprecedented bombing campaign targeting Iranian nuclear and military facilities.

Israel claims its attacks have killed senior Iranian commander Major-General Ali Shadmani, as well as his predecessor, Major-General Gholam Ali Rashid.

Residential areas in both countries have suffered deadly strikes since the fighting broke out, and foreign governments have scrambled to evacuate their citizens.

More than 700 foreigners living in Iran have crossed into neighboring Azerbaijan and Armenia since Israel launched its campaign, according to government figures.

Among those evacuated were citizens of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, along with others from Germany, Spain, Italy, Serbia, Romania, Portugal, the US, the United Arab Emirates, China and Vietnam, a government source said.

China evacuated its first batch of Chinese citizens from Iran on June 17 via a land route into Turkmenistan.

The US said it was closing its embassy in Jerusalem until June 20 amid the growing conflict, but there was no announcement about helping Americans leave the “crisis area”.

The first in a wave of special flights carrying Israelis stranded abroad landed in Tel Aviv early on June 18. Israel closed its airspace to civilian flights on June 13, leaving about 150,000 travelers with no way to return.

Fearing violence, many residents of Tehran have fled.
