  • *TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU STAND TO GAIN?*(Series 2)

    *Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 16:2

*"All the ways of a man are clean and innocent in his own eyes [and he may see nothing wrong with his actions], But the Lord weighs and examines the motives and intents [of the heart and knows the truth]."*(AMP)

There's need to always think twice before taking that steps. Looking at the advantages and the disadvantages that accompany your about decision. The above scripture is so clear, that the ways of a man is the best in his own eyes and that nothing is wrong with his actions but only the Lord weighs the motives, actions and intent of the heart.

*So, before you decided to ruin that Marriage, what do you stand to gain, before plotting that evil against your fellow christian, what do you stand to gain, before you agreed to join the association, all in the name of helping the work of God with demonic power, what do you stand to gain? Will God be please with all your actions and intent?*
In life something has to drive you to do what you do. For example, what makes you get out of bed in the morning? What is your motivating factor to face the day? Is it to make money, see the sunshine, go for a perty. *What do you live for and what makes you do the things you do?*

Jeremiah understood this, hear his prayer in Jeremiah 10:23-24; *"O Lord, I know that the path of [life of] a man is not in himself; It is not within [the limited ability of] man [even one at his best] to choose and direct his steps [in life]. O Lord, correct me [along with Your people], but with mercy and in just measure—Not in Your anger, or You will crush me and bring me to nothing."*(AMP). Tomorrow morning by God's Grace, we will begin to look at David and Saul as the case study. *Just as Jeremiah prayed, that the Lord should correct him even when he had gone far in his stupidity, so I encourage you to always ask God for mercy in all ramifications.* Good morning and do have a great day, peace.

*Prayer point:* Holy Spirit, even though I took a wrong steps, never let go far before you correct me and return me to your will in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

    *Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 21:2-3

*"Every man’s way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs and examines the hearts [of people and their motives]. To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice [for wrongs repeatedly committed]."*(AMP)

This morning by God's Grace, we will be going into another series as the Holy Spirit will be revealing Himself to us. Remain blessed in Him in Jesus name. Amen!

The fact that we came from Christian homes doesn't really makes us a child of God or followers of Christ. Our faith and righteousness living, obedient to God's ordinances, walking in accordance to His divine will, your character, motives towards divine agenda of God in your life will dictate your stand for God and reason for your living.

Our motive always must reflect a desire to please God, and not to impress people. This alerts us to be conscious always of the motive of our actions. Today's scripture, Proverbs 21:2 says that *“every way of a man seems right in his eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart”,* because we too can be self-deceived; we must ask the Lord to expose the inner motives that cast shadow across our minds and dim our spiritual discernment. Psalm 139:24 says; *"And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way."*(AMP)

In the same manner, before criticizing someone else, we need to pause long enough to discover our even motive. *Failing to do this can bring disastrous results. What is often termed “constructive criticism may actually be destructive jealously, since the easiest way to raise our own status is to bring someone down. Are you willing to question your motives before you offer criticism? Does the critical finger you point need to be pointed first toward you?* The motives behind criticism are always more important to deal with than the criticism itself. Therefore child of God, be conscious of the motives of your criticism always to avoid wrong interpretation of your motive.

CHECK YOUR MOTIVES AND ACTIONS TODAY, *WHAT DO YOU STAND TO GAIN?* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. Good morning and do have a great day, peace.

*Prayer point:* Oh dear Lord, help me to reveal your real self in my Christian journey in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

NNPC Ltd Donates 35 CNG Buses to Presidential Initiative on CNG
...Restates Commitment to Cleaner, Sustainable Fuel Alternative

The NNPC Ltd. has handed over thirty-five (35) hybrid Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered buses to the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas (Pi-CNG).

During a brief ceremony held at the NNPC Towers on Monday, the Group CEO, NNPC Ltd., Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari reiterated the Company’s commitment to support the Federal Government’s gas aspirations.

The GCEO, who stated that the move was in line with NNPC Ltd.’s efforts to drive the adoption of CNG as a cleaner, cheaper and sustainable fuel alternative, added that the Company has recorded significant progress on gas supply, infrastructure, distribution and retail outlets.

“I am proud that NNPC Ltd is playing a pivotal role in driving the Federal Government’s gas agenda towards energy transition,” the GCEO stated.

Earlier in his address, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo said the CNG buses represent not just vehicles but serve as instruments of economic relief, social equity, and environmental responsibility.

“They signal a future where the ordinary Nigerian can commute safely, affordably, and efficiently,” he added.

The Minister described the initiative as a direct reflection of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, a bold step to reduce the cost of transportation, lessen dependence on petrol, and ensure the utilisation of the Nation’s abundant natural gas resources for the benefit of the people.

Earlier in his remarks, the Executive Vice President, Downstream, NNPC Ltd., Mr. Mumuni Dagazau said the adoption of CNG as a fuel alternative has significant economic benefits for the Nation by reducing reliance on PMS and AGO as automotive fuels which also leads to substantial cost savings and supports the growth of local gas industry.

Also in his remarks, the Executive Vice President, Gas, Power & New Energy, Mr. Olalekan Ogunleye, said that as the CNG commercialisation drive continues to gather momentum, NNPC Ltd. will be there to lead the way.

In her remarks, the Managing Director of NNPC Foundation, Mrs. Emmanuella Arukwe, said through the initiative, NNPC Ltd. was advancing and shaping a new energy future that will purposefully serve people, communities, and the planet.

The Programme Coordinator/CEO, Presidential CNG Initiative, Mr. Michael Oluwagbemi, commended NNPC Ltd. for supporting the Initiative, stressing that the Company has been a reliable partner for the Initiative since its commencement.

  • AFTER 36 STATES, HE STILL GOT NOTHING

Popular Yoruba comedian Nasboi has finally returned to his normal life after kneeling down in 36 different Nigerian states just to get the attention of Davido — but sadly, all efforts were in vain.

Despite the dedication, sacrifices, and public pressure, Davido never responded or granted his request.

    This goes to show:
Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, some doors just won’t open. But that doesn’t mean you stop living.

    Moral Lesson:
If begging doesn’t work, walk tall and face front. Your destiny is still valid.

  • "You wouldn’t be President if Jonathan had crushed opposition."
~ADC Interim National Publicity Secretary and National Coalition Spokesperson, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.

“The President needs to prove that he is truly a democrat. He must remind his men that if the Goodluck Jonathan administration had behaved this way, the APC would never have come to power in 2015, and he would not be President today”.

Former State Chairmen and key executive members of the ADC from the North East and North West zones were invited to a secret meeting with top federal officials.

“We have credible intelligence that this meeting is not for national security or peacebuilding.
“Its goal is to intimidate, coerce, and possibly recruit these individuals into a scheme aimed at undermining the opposition. This is not politics. This is sabotage.”

The motive is to create division within its ranks, delegitimise its new leadership, and derail its emergence as a credible alternative to the ruling party.

Attempts to woo or pressure party officials in the name of political engagement are nothing short of a “coordinated assault on Nigeria’s democracy.”

“This is how one-party states are born, through fear, coercion, and manipulation. It is now obvious that the Tinubu administration, having lost public trust, is unable to face a united and credible opposition. Instead of addressing the country’s challenges, it has returned to the old playbook of destabilising rivals.

The ruling party’s tactics were pushing Nigeria toward dangerous political terrain, and we vow to resist what it a desperate bid to silence opposition voices.

“This party belongs to every Nigerian who is tired of the lies, the hardship, and the manipulation. We will not allow a few desperate men to take the country backward. We will resist them through every democratic means available."

  • The Coalition of Ambition: Why 2027 Might Still Belong to Tinubu

In 2023, the Nigerian opposition had a golden opportunity to defeat the APC at the polls, but they squandered it. Why? Two words: personal ambition.

Peter Obi’s defection from the PDP to Labour Party weeks before the election was the final nail in PDP’s coffin. By pulling a significant portion of southern youth and Christian votes, Obi effectively split the opposition vote and handed the victory to Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The numbers don’t lie; combine Obi and Atiku’s votes, and the story could have been different.

To be candid, Atiku and Obi have been inconsistent in their political journeys. Atiku has moved from PDP to ACN to APC and back to PDP, while Obi moved from APGA to PDP, and then to LP. While it is not wrong to change parties, when the motivation is clearly personal ambition, not ideology or vision, the public eventually notices. These men are chasing the presidency like a game of musical chairs—jumping from one party to another, hoping one finally puts them in Aso Rock.

Now, they want to form a coalition, ADC, LP, PDP, NNPP, etc. but it’s already looking like a house built on sand. Atiku still wants to be president. Obi believes he is the people’s choice and feels entitled to the presidency. Rabiu Kwankwaso wants his turn too. What happens when all of them sit at the table and no one is willing to give up their ambition?

Meanwhile, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated what it means to play the long game in Nigerian politics. Love him or hate him, the man is a seasoned political strategist. He didn’t just wake up and become president. He spent over two decades building structures, making allies, empowering political foot soldiers from the ward level to the national assembly. He played kingmaker for years and waited for the right moment to strike.

While the others were fighting over who should get the ticket, Tinubu was working the system, understanding the real dynamics of Nigerian politics: grassroots mobilization, structure, patience, and strategic loyalty.

And let’s not forget: after the 2023 election, Peter Obi virtually went silent. The so-called “Obidient” movement lost momentum. No serious political meetings. No town hall forums. No grassroots development. The Labour Party became just another platform, not a movement. You don’t build a national political machine by trending on social media.

Now, as 2027 approaches, the same characters are trying to merge forces, yet no clear structure, no shared ideology, no defined candidate. Just ambition floating on ego.

If we’re being objective, Tinubu stands a real chance of winning again in 2027, and here’s why:

    1. Structure: APC still has the widest political structure in Nigeria, from ward to federal level.

    2. Incumbency Power: Whether you like it or not, the party in power controls more levers of influence.

    3. Disunited Opposition: Unless the opposition agrees on a single candidate and strategy early, they will split the votes again.

    4. Time: No politician can build what Tinubu built in just two years. His patience, long-term vision, and networking across Nigeria are unmatched.

In conclusion, politics in Nigeria is not a sprint—it’s a marathon. Tinubu understood that. Atiku and Obi did not. And unless the so-called coalition can put aside ego, agree on one credible candidate, and start building structure from now, 2027 might just be another smooth ride for BAT if care is not taken.

Well, I dey wait for who go gree for who Sha.

  • Ghana continues to solidify its status as Africa’s leading gold producer, driving economic growth through several large-scale gold projects set to commence or expand production in the short to medium term.

    Black Volta Gold Project

The Black Volta Gold Mine is expected to deliver significant socio-economic benefits to the people of Wa, Upper West Region, and Ghana at large.
