GOVERNOR UBA SANI MEETS TRANSPORTATION MINISTER ON KADUNA LIGHT RAIL PROJECT
Governor Uba Sani paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Senator Sa’idu Ahmed Alkali, at the Federal Ministry of Transportation Headquarters in Abuja. The meeting was highly productive, with a central focus on the upcoming Kaduna Light Rail Project.
Governor Sani described the project as a transformative initiative spearheaded by the Kaduna State Government. He emphasized that, once completed, the light rail will significantly improve mobility for residents, stimulate economic growth, and strengthen connectivity between rural and urban communities across the state. He added that the project is a major step toward positioning Kaduna as a leading transportation hub in Nigeria.
In response, the Honourable Minister commended Governor Uba Sani for his commitment to people-centered governance and the development of an efficient, inclusive transportation system. He assured the Governor of the Ministry’s full support and willingness to partner with the Kaduna State Government to ensure the successful execution of the project.
