The Metropolitan Police said the victim was supported during the “extremely difficult time” as soon as she first reported the incident. “I didn’t leave my husband because I stopped loving him. I left because I was starting to forget how to love myself. People assume divôrce means failure. No! sometimes, it’s survival. For years, I kept quiet, smiling for the camera, wearing my ring like everything was okay. But behind the scenes, I was disappearing, emotionally, mentally. I gave the best of me to a man who eventually stopped seeing me. Conversations turned to silence. Respect turned to tension. And the home I tried so hard to build started to feel like a place I didn’t belong. Walking away wasn’t easy. It wasn’t dramatic. It was silent, deliberate. I didn’t need to announce it, I just started choosing myself again. I stopped posting “Chioma Akpotha” and went back to being “Chioma Chukwuka” not because I hate my past, but because I’m reclaiming my name, my peace, and my power. I didn’t lose a marriage. I found myself. -- Chioma Chukwuka

You lied about your past, your father disowned you – APC chieftain Eze blasts Wike A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has responded to some of the claims made by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike during a recent interview. Wike recently appeared on Channels Television’s Politics Today where he, among other things, claimed that he came from rich background and attended school driving in his own car. He said this insisting he did not come from the same background as his former boss, Chibuike Amaechi. Wike also claimed that Dame Judith, the wife of Rotimi Amaechi, was collecting the sum of N4 million monthly to train Rivers women. Wike vowed to resign if the report of forensic audit on the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, does not indict Amaechi’s wife. Reacting to Wike’s claims, Eze, an ally of Amaechi, who often stand for the former Minister of Transportation, said Wike only presented falsehood about his past exposure to the public thereby ridiculing himself. According to him, Wike, who was an errand boy to Amaechi, has of today denied everyone who made one contribution or another to lift him from abject poverty which reigned supreme in his family. Eze wondered whether it was Wike that made himself a Local Government Chairman, Chief of Staff to Amaechi and later nominated himself as a Minister during the Jonathan regime. “Trying to claim how rich his father was when poverty that radiated his family was as strong as the direct ray of sun, is denying his background,” Eze said in a statement he signed and made available to reporters at the weekend. “His father, if alive, would be disappointed in his act of self-denial to justify his lavish living with public funds. Not minding that his father disowned him because of his character and if not for his friend’s father who assisted him by paying his school fees, Nigerians would have been spared of having such a charlatan in public service “In his futile attempt to castigate Amaechi’s wife who had genuine dealings with the NDDC, one is forced to ask whether Wike’s wife is fit for the exalted position of a Judge which she holds given that sleeping daily in the same room and on the same bed with a character like Wike will definitely affect her sense of judgement in the delivery of justice. The business of Court is a noble one and the background of a Judge shapes his/her sense of judgement.” Eze blamed Amaechi said the former Rivers Governor made the greatest error in his political journey by encountering Wike and assisting him to be a Local Government Chairman; appointing him as his Chief of Staff and recommending him for Ministerial appointment. “As Governor, Wike’s biggest legacy is the destruction of all major policies and projects set up by the Amaechi’s government for the betterment of Rivers State and her people. The Agricultural set up that would have taken care of the food challenge currently facing Nigerians was destroyed, the educational sector and scholarship set up by Amaechi to make Rivers State a hub for human development was destroyed by Wike.” join us on all social media and also register on our website

on July 6, 2025 0 *TOPIC: BELIEVING GOD FOR THE MIRACULOUS.*(Series 14) *Scripture Reading:* Luke 18:9-10 *”He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves and were confident that they were righteous [posing outwardly as upright and in right standing with God], and who viewed others with contempt: “Two men went up into the temple [enclosure] to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.”*(AMP) Continuation from where we stopped yesterday. But our prayers will be powerless if they uttered for less than righteous motives. Although there are a number of things that can render our prayers powerless, we will be looking at three that clearly stand out; 1.Selfish prayers: *A selfless prayer is one that matches the will of God. That means a selfish prayer is one that exalt personal desire against the will of God.* When you pray selfishly, you want to fit God into the box of your need. You want Him to answer you in certain way, so that you can be happy. Jaconna} https://jaconna.com/

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF PEOPLE WHO IMPACTED OUR SOCIETY POSITIVELY OR NEGATIVELY ON THEIR FIELD OF WORKS EPISODE (54) BLACK FACE NAIJA (NIGERIA) Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo (born in Ogwule, Agatu, Benue State, Nigeria .His known by his stage name Blackface Naija or just Blackface, is a Nigerian dancehall, ragga, reggae singer, and songwriter. He is best known as co-writer of "African Queen" with 2Baba, a song made famous by the latter after it appeared on his debut solo album Face 2 Face in 2004 to become an international hit. Personal career of Blackface After the Plantashun Boiz split up in 2004, Blackface led a solo musical career. He released the hip hop album Ghetto Child in May 2004 collaborating with several artists. The album contains "Hard Life" featuring Alabai as the first single. He also recorded a full album for his crew D Tribunal called What We Are. After Ghetto Child, he released Evergreen, Jungle Fever, Me, Musiq and I, Dancehall Business, and the prospective Defender Personal life of blackface Blackface was married to Dayo for eight years and has two children, Caroline and Alex. The couple agreed to separate, pending divorce procedures. Blackface and two-face controversy -Innocent 2Baba Idibia "Over the years, I have been tagged the villain of the Plantashun history, some say I followed money and betrayed my brothers in the hustle. Others say I stole a song and made it my hit. I have ignored it all because I am an enigma and my life revolves around peace, I try not to chase the problematic side of life, my loving wife Ani would always urge me to say something and clear my name but I gave it time. I gave it time because time reveals all things. We are growing grey now, our kids shouldn't see themselves and say "Hey your daddy stole my daddy's song and made fame from it". That would drop the pride in my kids so I have to clear the air. What a lot of people do not know is that; I took permission from its writer as a professional would do. The writer told me "haba bro, we are brothers from Idoma, I am creative with writing, I can write another. This one Na the least track wey I get self wey go blow" He underestimated the African Queen, I went ahead to record it, energized and gave it a vibe with my voice and it went beyond Africa to the world. It became a global hit that pulled platinum sales for my former record label Kennis Music. African Queen became a movement that reawakened the awareness in the beauty of an African woman, it became a sound of the Pan-African spirit and it brought home an Award from MTv. As a peaceful man, I still contacted the writer to show him love from my own earnings, because as at that time, my whole doings were sponsored by Kennis so they controlled my funds. I offered the writer ₦2 million naira and a plot land in Otukpo Benue State but he told me he deserved more than that. I tried to make the writer understand this thing I am offering is coming from my small savings and will do more in future as I grow bigger. The writer needed more because he felt I was global and worth more with no consideration of me under a label. I even brought it to the attention of my King but the writer still stood his ground. At that point, I decided to move on and let destiny play its role because it was becoming a distraction in my career. The record label is operated like a football business, they do not just sign you to come and warm the bench but to bring home the accolades.
