Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 12 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos. The suspects are: Jinadu Hammed, Phillip Gift, Ikemefuna Enekwechi, Daniel Edu, Ponmile Salami and David Uche Akpuru. Others are: Abdurahman Oroan, Eyiaromi Daniel, Sodipo Shinaayo, Confidence Henry Ifechukwudi, Samuel Afuap and Eko Sylvanus. They were arrested on Thursday, July 31, 2025, during a sting operation on Spar Road, Salem Bus Stop, Lekki, Lagos State. This followed credible intelligence received by the Commission on the activities of some individuals suspected to be involved in computer-related fraud.
