US President Donald Trump has once again taken aim at Elon Musk, suggesting the billionaire would "head back to South Africa" if federal subsidies for electric vehicles (EVs) are cut. Trump’s jab follows Musk’s sharp criticism of the sweeping tax and spending bill known as the "Big Beautiful Bill," which includes proposed cuts to clean energy support. Musk has referred to it as "political suicide for the Republican Party." Trump has also threatened to investigate the subsidies received by Musk’s companies using the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—an agency Musk once led before stepping down in May. As senators push ahead with the bill, Musk has hinted he may launch his new political party, the so-called "America Party," the day after it passes. #DWAfrica
