The ITAOUA electric vehicle is Burkina Faso’s first locally assembled electric vehicle, assembled by local engineers.
They are fully electric and come equipped with solar panels to extend range.
By 2026, many components of the ITAOUA ev models will be made in Burkina. A manufacturing plant is under construction.
