Napoli have demanded two Liverpool players plus cash in exchange for Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, as the Premier League champions register their interest in the Nigerian forward.
According to Valter De Maggio, per Sportskeeda, Liverpool have offered Napoli Federico Chiesa and Darwin Nunez for Osimhen. However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has informed Liverpool that they will only consider the bid if they add €20m.
Chiesa is valued at €14 million, while Nunez is valued at €45 million. Adding €20m to the two players’ values makes it €79m with Osimhen valued at €70m on Transfermarkt.
The 26-year-old Nigerian striker has established himself as one of the best marksmen in the world over the past three years. Osimhen has wanted to leave Napoli for a bigger club since last summer but did not get his move and had to join Galatasaray on a season-long loan.
