Someone called her action "blasphemy". However, Rita Edochie has now stepped in to defend May. The actress claimed that May is "the visible Mother Mary we can see in this century". She added that May Edochie honoured Mother Mary with her post. As for May's critics, Rita said to them, "The colours of your problem is way undetectable. You all need to heal."
