*TOPIC: BELIEVING GOD FOR THE MIRACULOUS.*(Series 5) *Scripture Reading:* 2 King 6:28-29 *"And the king said to her, “What is the matter with you?” She answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son so we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.’ So we cooked my son and ate him. The next day I said to her, ‘Give your son so that we may eat him’; but she had hidden her son.”*(AMP) After Ben-hadad king of Aram (Syria) attacked Samaria and took all valuable thing away, thereafter, there was a great famine in the land of Samaria to a point at which people began to kill their own children one after another, cooked it and eat in order to sustain other family members from hunger. What a pathetic condition. *I pray by the mercy of God, there will be a great, massive provisional Miracle in Nigeria at this season and there will be peace in every home in Jesus Christ name. Amen!* Then in chapter 7, Prophet Elisha declared by the word of the Lord; *"Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord, ‘Tomorrow about this time a measure of finely-milled flour will sell for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria." Then the royal officer on whose arm the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “If the Lord should make windows in heaven [for the rain], could this thing take place?” Elisha said, “Behold, you will see it with your own eyes, but [because you doubt] you will not eat of it.”*(1-2, AMP) Truly, there was a massive provision in less than twenty four hours and the land of Samaria experienced great turn around for the first time in the land. I am here to announce to you this morning that this is exactly what the Lord will do in our land and there will be a great turn around in Jesus Christ name. *"It happened just as [Elisha] the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, “Two measures of barley will be sold for a shekel and a measure of finely-milled flour for a shekel tomorrow about this time at the gate of Samaria.”*(vs 18 AMP) For you to experience the miraculous, you must believe in the God of Miracle. Iran Brought Israel On Their Knees, Now Begging For Ceasefire - Femi Fani-Kayode 👇👇👇 According to him "I congratulate the Islamic Republic of Iran for standing up to the Zionist bullies and Talmudic troublers of the world, teaching them the lesson of their lives, bringing them to their knees and forcing them to go running to their big brother America for help in the field of battle and to beg for a ceasefire. In its entire 77 year history the Zionist state has never suffered such shock, panic, trepidation, terror, infrastructural damage and shame and their cities have never been so savagely attacked and destroyed. Out of the four types of Miracles named yesterday, I want to focus more on the provisional aspect. We found the account in 2 Kings 6 of when the Syrians had surrounded Samaria and cut off all its supplies, the people of the city were starving to death to a level of eating their children one after another. *In the midst of this crisis, Elisha said by the Spirit of God, "Tomorrow at this time, you can find anything you want."* In a miraculous act of provision, God used four lepers to plunder the enemy's camp and take everything they needed - silver, gold, food and clothing and the news spread to the town. Jesus also began and ended His ministry on the earth with provisional miracles. At the wedding feast in Cana, He turned water into wine(John 2:1-11). Multiplying the loaves and the fish was a provisional miracle(Matthew 14:15-20). Jesus' last provision miracle before His ascension took place after He arose from the dead. He was on the shore, watching Peter and some others fishing, when he called out to Peter, "Throw your net out the other side." When Peter did as he was told, his net caught enough fish(John 21:1-12). Divine intervention prospered Peter's business tremendously, causing him to recognize the Lord immediately. I discovered that God always performs provisional miracles first, before He performs the physical miracles even right from Genesis. He always make a provision for His children at all time. And that's the reason why you will not end this year in shame because the Lord Jesus will make a way for you out of no way in Jesus Christ name. Amen! To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace. *TOPIC: AVOIDING PITFALL IN MARRIAGE/ RELATIONSHIP*(Series 4) *Scripture Reading:* Hosea 4:6b, John 6:63 *"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh conveys no benefit [it is of no account]. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life [providing eternal life]."*(AMP) We started looking at pitfall to avoid in marriage yesterday, we shall continue from where we stopped today by God's Grace. *2) Lacking of knowledge:* Hosea 4:6b says; *"my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge...."* Lacking of knowledge destroy a home. You must build your home constantly on the knowledge of God. With knowledge, you averted many ways of the devil. *It's an error to go into marriage/ relationship without adequate knowledge. The marriage/relationship is liable to crash without any notice.* *3) Being double minded:* Being double minded with your spouse causes you to be unstable in all of your ways. You can never enjoy or see the best embedded in him/her because your thought, vision and mission are different. *You must constantly walk on the same frequency to avoid pitfall in your marriage.* *4) The carnal mind is an enemy of God:* To avoid pitfall in your marriage/relationship, be spirit filled. Being carnal makes your spirit to be subjected to your flesh. *"The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you —they are full of the Spirit and life.*"(John 6:63). Never give room to carnality, it makes you worldly and when you are worldly, you will be control and manipulated by the worldly system. *5) Refusal to forgive your spouse:* Another pitfall in marriages is when you conclude never to forgive your spouse. And the moment you refuse to forgive your husband/wife hurts, it causes you to live in torment and hinder you from receiving God's promises. Matthew 6:14-15 says, *"For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. *TOPIC: CHRISTIAN HOME: PILLARS THAT SUSTAIN MARRIAGES*(Series 8) *Scripture Reading:* 1Peter 3:1-7, Proverbs 3:5-6. I want to emphasize more on this; *No one should know you intimately, more than your spouse. Don’t be wary of training of your spouse. Due to differences in background and some other factors, you will experience a communication gap naturally. But keep training your spouse until your good desire comes true.* *9) Pray Together:* To keep and sustain your marriage, don't neglect praying habit with your spouse. *Pray with your spouse and pray for your spouse each day! You can only be in charge of your home when issues are settling in the spirit realm via prayer.* Be a Christian example to your spouse. Scripture gives this instruction to wives who have non-Christian husbands. *“Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives”* (1 Peter 3:1). It's your duty as wife to be in charge of your home and likewise husband. There must be no loophole. Your loving, giving, Christian example can go a long way toward positively influencing your spouse. Your prayer lifestyle will determine this and influence your spouse positively in doing God's will. We all need to acknowledge God and our Savior in every aspect of our lives. Scripture exhorts us: *“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”* (Proverbs 3:5–6).
