An Engineer has narrated how his younger brother was abducted by organ harvesters posing as police officers. He explained that his brother was in a Bolt driver's car in Port Harcourt when the men with rifles stopped the Bolt, dragged his brother out, and tried to take him to Bayelsa State. His brother was only released when the men checked his body and noticed a scar. When they discovered he had undergone surgery due to kidney failure, they extorted him and let him go. The elder brother narrated the incident on X, writing: "I just received an almost sad news from Nigeria. "Organ harvesters disguised as police officer kidnapped my brother off his bolt ride and tried to take him to bayelsa fromPortharcourt. "The stopped the bolt ride and forced my brother out of it. Holding him by his shorts and hitting him with the base of their rifle. "The bolt driver continued following behind and when the driver tried to raise alarm, the kidnappers put bullets in his tires. "My brothers hands were tied and several slaps were dished out to him in the back seat of their sienna. "They took control of his phones and scrolled through his photos. "He had pictures of a recent surgery he had just done and when they saw it, they asked him what happened there. He told them he had kidney failure and hes managing his kidney. They said 'so your organs no deh work well', he said yes, hes been managing it for seven years now. "They stopped the vehicle immediately, discussed amongst themselves and decided to let him off. "The took his Atm card, withdrew his 80k, gave him 3k and his phone and told him to call his bolt driver to pick him up. "My sweet little brother would have been taken, never to be seen if not for the surgery he had done just last month. "This is a lesson to everyone , dont ever think it cant be you. This one has hit very close to home and its scary as hell. "We cant tell who is and who isnt a police officer anymore . Even real officers are in the trade of organ harvesting. "Youre better off being shot to death on the spot than following them in that sienna. "I thank God my brother is safe and sound. Let God help us all."
